Hi Sarah, I enjoyed your movie. I'm a collector myself, so it's always reassuring to find similar minded people who are also collectors. Typewriters are just such lovely, practical, wondrous mechanical writing instruments. And they're no longer in production, so I feel a sense of protective preservation drives me to adopt them. They've been a part of my life since I was 8 yrs and now I'm much older. I appreciate the time you put into this little project. Thanks.

Sarah! Didn't suck! I enjoyed it,made me smile...2 years...33 typewriters. All I have repaired/ refurbished and work beautifully. Just watched your video on selling some if yours. I've done that...sell 2...buy 4 😑. Thanks for another great video. Keep it up. God bless.

Great job, Sarah! I feel validated. Although I only have 4 typewriters, I have about ten vintage radios and phones, and 4,000 books. I must get Joe’s book (I like his style too).

I love all your videos - please keep doing them! My first typewriter was also a teal Corsair Deluxe, just like yours. I also adore my Classic 12. Rounding out the top 3 is a 1948 Royal Quiet DeLuxe. My collection is not as big as yours (yet) - I only have 11 so far. Only three have names, but eventually they all will as they reveal their personalities. I learned to type back in the late '60s on my grandmother's Royal KHM - I'm still looking for a good KHM just for nostalgia's sake, but I use all the others for writing. Thank you for sharing the typewriter love!

Vinny Minchillo: Don’t laugh-that used to happen to me all of the time when typewriters could be had for $5.00. Never failed. I could return to my truck and the bed would literally be full of the darn things!! For a long time no one could tell me typewriters didn’t pop out kids!!

Aah!! You’re the one!! I thought I was the only one with the voluminous collection of typewriters!! Actually at any one time I might have had over 100. My average over 40 years is about 75, give or take. Not sure how many altogether, but I know it was a lot. The memories, stories and experiences-not near enough and all precious to me!!

Glad to see you successfully achieved your goal, doing an amazing job might I add!!!

While attending NYU (Greenich Village, NYC.) in 1989, one sunny FALL Sunday, my wife and I were sitting on the edge of the then perpetually "dry" fountain in the center of WASHINGTON SQUARE park, just behind the "ARCH" which frames 5th Avenue looking North.
We were approached by a self proclaimed "roving poet" who had some of his preprinted "works" for sale.
We thanked him but but politely declined saying "Sorry but you're talking to potential competitors here" and explained why. He smiled and said "Well? Here! Take mine anyway! I'd be honored." Very smooth pitch.
Wife and I gazed at each other and with the knowing "looks" that committed couples give each other we reached into our wallets and "bought" our newfound friend's printed verses from him. Whether they were original or not? At that point it DIDN'T matter. Our friend got "funded" and we got a good story out've it to tell here.
This seemed to make ALL our days.
(As KIRK DOUGLAS recently said "It could've been VERSE!" LOL)

Might? Might?! We are crazy, no question. But life is crazy, so really, we are normal. By the way 20 typewriters in 1 year makes me roughly twice as nuts as you. Yeah. You gotta up your game! Hahaha, or not.
