Relaxing after long day at work and just had dinner, ready to watch another good one from Seth James Demoor. The prep is about to go crazy, the legend is back
San Diego marathon in June. Will be my 16th SDRnR marathon. Without question this will be my most challenging build up. Broke my arm 4 weeks ago snowboarding and 2 surgeries later I’m still immobile. A complicated humerus break with deltoid muscle damage from the displacement. Hope to start running again February 4th, giving me 16 weeks. I believe breaking my arm is better than my leg, but this still has consequences long term regarding strength and conditioning training which has always been a huge part of my training… and life. Good luck in your training Seth and rooting for you to experience a successful build and race. Cheers.
Woooo hoooo! Great to see you Seth! Thank you for all your inspiration and motivation, from your awesome videos, family, training and awesome DGR gear! He'll yes, we'll keep going. Just taking a week of rest cause I started to feel a shin splint on my left leg, but we'll be back! Good evening DGR!❤
Great choice! Very close to where I grew up, I'd love to spectate/document for you but I'll be playing that morning for Palm Sunday. Maybe I'll be along for the group run, depending when that is.
Sad you're not coming to run Helderberg to Hudson, but I get it. I don't think it would have the competition you're looking for to push that PR. I ran Jersey City Marathon a couple years ago in its inaugural new course.. or something. Def. didn't have the best experience - weather was brutal with rain and the surrounding area was blah, but the race seemed to be pretty organized. Cheers Seth, best of luck man!
My next race is the Warm Up Columbus 10K in Dublin, OH on February 2nd. Hoping to better my PR of 42:41 (from this race last year) and go sub 42’ (will be my 3rd attempt).
I’ll be running the Walla Walla 6 hour trail race in April. It’s a 5 mile loop course and I’ll run as many miles as I can in 6 hours. Im hoping to run at least 20 miles or more.
I ran the Jersey City Marathon last year. I achieved a PR. Let me know if you have any questions about this course. I have running friends in Jersey City who could give you a course preview as well. Good luck!
Wish I wasn’t going to Boston (for the 5k) the following weekend. But, I’ll look to volunteer since I will be in Jersey City. Liberty State Park for the shakeout…
Very glad to see you upload more videos! I hope you keep the rhythm high 😊
