It is such a shame that we have millions of tons of rare earth minerals just sitting at the end of this line in tailings in Tawanus If they would invest in replacing the tracks and leasing 100 coal cars they could pull billions of dollars out of that site Having tourist trains on the line is great but I remember when the line was very active every day with multiple trains up and back from the mine and the paper mills In the 90s it didn't make sense to go there but now that lithium is so valuable and NY Adirondacks has the largest amount in the country, we should be making money pulling it from the mine
