There is so much symbolism with the colors of black and white with Roxas. The coat he once wore was black and it was nothing but a void sucking his person away, the he obtained Oblivion (a symbol of Sora and Riku's friendship in KH1 how they had the epic brawl that seperated them more) and Oathkeeper (a light to guide his way and symbolism of Sora's relationship with Kairi) and then Roxas' clothes are made up of black and white to show that while he does have his past in bits and pieces he also has a new life, new personality he can bring out, which happens to also be what the Oblivion and Oathkeeper represent to Roxas as one is him (Oblivion, a nobody fated for annihilation) and Oathkeeper (the memory of Xion that watches over him and he holds dear).

I'm 100% convinced that Roxas's dual-wielding Oathkeeper and Oblivion during his final fight with Axel was the game's way of stealth-teasing Drive Forms before the prologue ends.
It makes me wonder now. After so many years what did Axel mean by “but you’re too late?” Is he too late because Axel now has to stop him from going back to Sora? Or is he too late because now Axel is going to stop him and bring him back to the organization? Regardless after this battle, Axel goes awol leaving Saix behind (although their friendship is pretty broken at this point) It makes me wonder who Axel considers his best friend to be…Isa or Roxas?
Too late because Axel had to kill Roxas by the Organization's order. Before this he was holding back, trying to negotiate. But, since he was threatened to be turned into a Dusk, he had no choice.
@@ShadowbannedAccount so in the end, he considered Isa more of his friend in this situation since he didn't want to become a Dusk knowing that he still has another plan. Roxas: keyblades
Axel: "Amateur," beyblades
That look on his face before "I'm so FLATTERED!"
2:23 the first thing I said when I moved away
From where?

Kingdom hearts 3 looks good but it’s not Axel vs Roxas good! Best fight ever
Remake of this fight in KH3 graphics is gooder and better.
Heh.
POV: the silent kid in class opens up to you
that “two?!” both doesn’t sound like a question or like accel himself even said it
0:43 *FIGHT!!!*
The rush of that first combo/reaction command.
0:24 Bless you, Axel.
I really miss the old combat voice lines for Roxas. I think it makes him sound more unique, and non-Ventus.
It makes me wonder now. After so many years what did Axel mean by “but you’re too late?”
Is he too late because Axel now has to stop him from going back to Sora? Or is he too late because now Axel is going to stop him and bring him back to the organization?
Regardless after this battle, Axel goes awol leaving Saix behind (although their friendship is pretty broken at this point)
It makes me wonder who Axel considers his best friend to be…Isa or Roxas?
I'm pretty sure he still sees Roxas as his best friend
Too late because Axel had to kill Roxas by the Organization's order. Before this he was holding back, trying to negotiate. But, since he was threatened to be turned into a Dusk, he had no choice.
@@ShadowbannedAccount so in the end, he considered Isa more of his friend in this situation since he didn't want to become a Dusk knowing that he still has another plan. I mean I don't think he prefers Isa over Roxas (more equally if anything), but I think he knew he needed to stick with the ORIGINAL plan and prayed he'd see Roxas again.
Roxas and Axel put this game on the map hands down!
I like how they took the time to remix the organization 13 Theme song it’s dope
Axel trying not to cry at 0:33
Axel's voice acting should get every recognition possible.
We don't enter here for the battle, is pretty meh, we enter here because "Im so fLATTERED", so good acting
And they will meet together in Kingdom Hearts 3, but in an other life, like Axel said.......
Roxas uses 2 keyblades
Axel uses 2 chakrams
It's perfectly balanced
Perfectly balanced as all things should be
Playing this game for the first time is one of those experiences I would love to experience again. I remember getting out of school and waiting for my father to take me to the store, to pickup my preordered copy. 😢
I remember seeing the commercial back in 3rd grade and the part where Roxas and Axel fight on the wall while on fire always amazed tf outta me.😭 I knew from than Kh2 was gonna be dope lol
You really do remember me this Time IM SO FLATTERED BUT YOUR TOO LATE I love that line the violin makes so real
I’ve played a lot of games in my life. This fight scene literally beats them all. I remember first playing this game thinking what the hell is this. I played 2 then 1 btw. Then he walks in the music hits and there goes the floor on fire and I’m just like oh shit, shouldn’t have hit critical mode!!
Oh the way he says "im so flattered"
This shit right is what got me into kingdom hearts
👨🦰🆚️🧑🏻🦰⚔️
1:48 *KNOCKOUT!!!*
This fight is so great after how unexciting the game is up til this point. Just such a spectacle of a fight
COME HERE! I’LL MAKE IT ALL STOP!!
