I also think the addition of a hidden-secret Force user by The ISB is such a revelation. So Vader has his Inquisotors and working against that, of course the ISB would have a team. Palpatine always encouraged the whole Sith like thing of competition. Can you imagine if The ISB had their own watchdogs to not only hunt for Jedi, but to be in place if Vader slipped up at some point? This opens up The ISB to so much more storytelling potential. Maybe The ISB were able to manipulate the Inquisotors into their own destruction, since we do not see any by the time of Star Wars. I feel story here and I am hopeful it will be explored.
I'm scared for cal in the next game. Both villains in this game turned to the dark side because of an obsession. Dagan's was Tanalorr and Bode's was his daughter. Now Cal is in charge of both. AND he is in a relationship with Merrin. He's already shown signs of attachment for Tanalorr, like how he thought Dagan was right about making it a fortress to fight the empire, so seems like there's a lot that can tempt him to the darkside

I feel like Tanalor will serve the narrative well in the future! Should Cal survive the next game(s), Tanalor can be an easy explanation why he isn’t around during the Battle of Yavin and helping the rebels.
Felt like it was super intentional too, the second this "hidden world where the empire cant reach" them was being thrown around, I just went "Oooohhh, they're getting ready to bring him into the live action stuff."

I see Survivor as taken place before Kenobi. The Path in Kenobi is run down, perhaps because their leadership was just taken out. Plus this gives time for other minor things, Purge troopers get new armor and Vader’s suit is trashed, leaving room for him to get a new suit for Kenobi, as the suit in Survivor is different from Kenobi but is the same from Fallen Order.
Kenobi takes place 10 years after revenge of the sith. Fallen order is 5 years after revenge of the sith. Survivor is 5 years after fallen order. So it’s the same time line 10 years after revenge of the sith.
I think this happens after Kenobi, Vader is pissed that Kenobi beat him up so he’s gonna take it out on Cere and in the process destroy the hidden path
I think it's after Kenobi, because of the way empire is on tracks of the Hidden Path, as well as Vader personally going to handle it in Survivor. The suit thing, I think it was a spare Vader had, and used it because his better one was destroyed in Kenobi. So he had to revert back to old suit. Head canon, it also pleases me as it gives reason to how Cere was able to do so much damage to Vader, since Vader was still recovering mentally and physically from his encounter with Kenobi.
One of the force echos has a Jedi name drop the Nihil in the game, also Toa has lore drops in her conversations with Cal, she mentions the destruction of Starlight Beacon.
I was duped by Bode's betrayal. I went into the 3rd Dagan fight thinking "This dude is totally going to get murdered and he's gonna be like 'take care of my daughter...blegh'". Now because of him, I'll never trust anyone that calls me brother ever again. Not even my actual brother. 😅
Their are a few databanks that relate to the emergence (which yes, is the cause of the shattered moon becoming the shattered moon) but the one I remember the name of is literally "The Koboh Emergence"
One thing I really like about the inclusion of Tanalorr & the Hidden Path in this game is that it gives a potential out for Cal to survive beyond the events of A New Hope. The reason why he didn’t help the Rebel Alliance can be as simple as he was busy doing good work elsewhere, helping the Hidden Path ferry people to Tanalorr. He doesn’t have to die in order for later events to make sense. And even after the events of the OT, he can decide to stay on Tanalorr rather than go out and help rebuild the Jedi Order with Luke.
There's a force echo that specifically mentions the Nihil by name, not calling them invaders, marauders etc. I believe that the echo is either on jedha or kobo.
Thanks for answering my question! Battle Scars really did enhance Survivor for me overall, specifically with learning & understanding the headspace of each member of the Mantis crew when we catch up with them ☺️
19:50 See, I had almost the opposite reaction to whenever Bode spoke I was CONVINCED, whenever he reminded us that he has a daughter, that he was gonna have to sacrifice himself or in someway die for Cal to escape. Was really giving me "Two days left until retirement" vibes XD So when he finally DID betray us, it was so much more of a gut punch for me This games story is so damn good!
That was my thought too! I said something like that out loud too because that's such a trope. He talked about his daughter a lot right before that final fight with Dagan where he aided in the fight, and I was absolutely certain Bode was going to die because he had JUST given a reason for living. Happens WAY too often in movies and TV so I was at least glad they didn't do that. The twist really got me because of that.
I feel like the line that the senator says where he mentions “while you were out chasing shadows” I wonder if that’s a reference to Kenobi as he seems very interested in what the inquisitors were up to and Cal Kestis it feels like it makes sense it’s shortly after the Kenobi show
The cool thing about Tanalorr's addition to the lore is that now this provides a way for Cal to still be alive by the end of his games or in the current timeline of Star Wars canon. Cause up until now we were all thinking Cal was gonna die by the end of it all, he still could, but this just makes me hope lol.
I think the way Marrin has changed and still accesses the same Nightsister magick is super interesting. Like, what does that say about other darkside affiliated force abilities? Is Nightsister magick inherently different? Could this imply something like Plo Koon's lightning in the EU *is* possible in canon? Just opens up some interesting doors regarding how the force can manifest.
Can we all appreciate the fact that The person who made Jedi survivor has read and implemented stuff from Star Wars legends. Even the mini bosses, the raiders that hold lightsabers, were practicing forbidden techniques called trakata, which is switching off your lightsaber and reigniting it to kill your opponent. This is abhorrent to both the sith and Jedi. But because the raiders aren’t one with the force, they are fully inclined to use whatever taboo technique to kill their opponent. Outstanding.
Thank goodness someone knows who the Nihil are. To many people who reviewed the game didn't know who they were, so they criticized their arrival on Tanalorr.
I think Jedi survivor takes place before because the purge trooper has phase 1 armor and in obi wan kenobi they have phase 2 armor, it also explains the absence of the inquisitors
I think Dagan Gera is so obsessed with Tanalor not because of the planet itself, but more due to his own ambition and connection to Santari Khri. As I see it, he was rather vain guy who wanted to be seen as extraordinary in the order. She was pretty ambitious gal with unusual science project, which was falling apart right before Dagan volunteered to make a test flight through the Abyss. He proven himself to be exceptionally powerful Jedi, because navigation through the anomaly required strong connection to the Force, and she was able to create her invention thanks to the data he gathered. So they bonded over shared victory and fall in love, while Tanalor became a memorial to this great deed and their "special place". Because of this sentimental attachment he was willing to fight by any means necessary to protect it, and probably believed Santari felt the same. But she saw his actions as a crime, chopped of his hand and lock him up, most likely breaking the heck out of his heart on top of actual trauma. So for two hundred years in delirium he fanatically convinced himself that even if he no longer have a place in the order, and woman he loved betrayed him, it does not matter, because he still have Tanalor and his power, and it's worth everything.
Another cool nod to the high republic is when you talk to toa in pyloons saloon. In one of the conversations she mentions the fall pf starlight becon. I really like all the references.
The databank does confirm that the moon was destroyed by an emergence. I believe it's mentioned in one of the files under the "shattered moon" section, or maybe under the "lore" tab.
I love how much you’re struggling with using the dark side! It shows how good they did in immersion within the story, that you are feeling the SAME struggle that Cal is. To the point that you wish there was an option to turn off dark side powers. There is an option - not using it! But the dark side is seductive and even when we DON’T want to we feel drawn to it. This is the first time I’ve had that feeling in a game. It goes beyond Cal and makes me feel for all Jedi and force users - because in the past I’ve been judge mental of those who used the dark side but now I can see why. It literally is easier and quicker and that power is seductive.
One of the best moments in this game is when you first encounter the rancor. It was genuinely terrifying. I know there are two in the game (and you even fight two at once in a force tear which was another holy s*** moment), but the first one you encounter just comes out from behind a cave pillar and my eyes just bulged out of my head because I wasn’t expecting it. I literally made the Luke face when he falls in the pit in ROTJ. It’s big, it’s fast, and it one hit kills you. Rancors should be terrifying monsters not that Book of Boba Fett pet/mount nonsense.
For Dagan Gera, his obsession with Tannalore was just like our obsession with Earth. If we find another planet, suitable for life and all, we can leave earth but we will always have an attachment to it. Tannalore was Dagan's baby, so he just wanted it so bad. Its also why he was so angry that jedi wanted to pull back and leave it, because to him, it meant everyone abandoning his baby, full of life and possibilities.
I loved how they have Cal embracing the dark side of the force. This whole idea that a jedi can't use the dark part of the problem with the jedi and their self righteousness. Everyone has a dark side. To learn balance is to learn how to manage the dark side without letting it consume you. I can't wait for the third game.
5:39 The droid workers on the moon all seem to repeat a common phrase, that being "the sky is broken." On top of that, when speaking to cal, he asks something along the lines of "what did this" to which the droid replies "the emergence" Edit: check out databank entry 294, "The Koboh Emergence," because that one all but confirms it
"It takes strength to resist the dark side, only the weak embrace it!" I've never used it, except of course in that one cutscene, where you had to, I didn't even use it against those 10 security droids on Nova Garon, I just ran around Merrin slowly brought them down one by one, takes patience, but it works, after talking to Bode, I also just jumped over the troopers and went on.
Cal says in a conversation to Kata upon revisiting the moon that it was destroyed by a “rock” specifically so i would say it was unrelated but at the same time it is also mentioned it was related to the Emergence so I’m not really sure
I agree completely with the idea you have at the end of the video, I thought about that myself too. I would love for these games to continue getting made with different characters. Since the High Republic is kind of entwined with this game, I could definitely see a Jedi game where the protagonist is from the High Republic, I could even see us playing as Dagan or Santari. I could also see a game set in a period of a more well known jedi that we haven't seen like Ahsoka during the original trilogy or some Luke stuff after ROTJ or maybe even Rey before her new film. On the topic of that, I'm also interested to see if Tanalorr will come up in Rey's new movie. I actually love the possibility that people, maybe Jedi, have been hiding on Tanalorr all the way up to Rise of Skywalker and maybe Rey finds out about them and makes contact. Whether or not something like that happens, I do hope Tanalorr comes back somehow and doesn't just get ignored after the next Cal game.
I feel like in the third game Cal will be killed by Darth Vader. It seems to me like a logical progression and a fitting end for him: first we barely escape Vader playing Cal with the help from Cere, than we fight him as Cere and Cere is killed, so the third time we'll face Vader as Cal himself, and unfortunately there's only one way this is going to end.
There's a scannable on the Shattered Moon somewhere titled "The Emergence" that says that it was hit by a piece of the Legacy Run, don't know where to find it but it is there. Small edit: it’s number 412 in the database.
9:28 this… like it’s a whole new planet. The whole goal of the game was to get to Tanalor. And we finally do and there’s no animal life two meditation points and almost nothing in between. A temple that’s not even really exploitable. The views were incredible! Just wish there was more there!
- With the timeline, I also recall Cere and Cordova's names at least being considered for the Mapuzo safehouse. I don't know if they made it into the final episode, but the fact they were thinking about it does kind of suggest Survivor would happen soon after. Also with Vader, it also kind of works character wise because Palpatine wants him back in his place doing his job, and forgetting his personal vendettas (which cost them the Path in the last episode), so he could kind of "redeem" himself for that. Him just being petty against Cere for ruining Fortress Inquisitorius is an amusing thought, though. He just acts like Palpatine he's doing it for the Path stuff when in reality he wants to get rid of another enemy. :P - Lore wise, my favourite addition would probably be showing how many in the Empire are looking at the Inquisitorius as irrelevant and dated. Granted, we got a bit of that teased in Rebels when the Fifth Brother is called a relic or something along those lines, but the idea that there's people in the ISB actively trying to compete with them and make them irrelevant, even using their own Force sensitive spies like Bode (who was even a former Jedi like the Inquisitors) was interesting to me. - I haven't read Battle Scars but I do like the idea of Merrin having Fret because often getting into relationships can be messy, and Merrin after learning more about herself can then approach Cal now that she feels more confident in herself and what she really wants. The reason people seem to hate the idea itself (how you feel about its execution is up to you, I'm just talking the concept of Merrin having another love interest) I think really comes down to the idea of monogamy and how that's the expected norm, how you're always meant to just have "the one", as opposed to a more realistic scenario where people may experience multiple relationships and it's quite messy. Just because you want Cal and Merrin together, it doesn't mean that needs to be all those characters can experience. People who experience romantic relationships often go through multiple (including simultaneously if they're polyamorous), and it can often be quite messy and complicated, so if anything I applaud Maggs for feeling confident enough to do that (and Respawn for suggesting that). Also yeah, with the whole Jedi attachments thing, it shouldn't be a problem to be in the relationship itself, but knowing Cal is already flirting the Dark Side would mean he has to be even MORE careful than an ordinary Jedi. - Yeah, the whole sequence with Merrin sending you through portals to eventually take down the Trident ship was probably the most fun part of the game for me. You talk about how it reminds you of other games that have big cinematic setpieces, and I had that feeling too, there's one sequence in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart that's ALSO on a desert planet where you're frantically jumping and traveling between different grind rails because of a giant robot that's after you that felt very similar, especially with the huge scale both of those sequences conveyed really well. With the whole thing about Cal focusing more on just fighting and being a weapon, I think it's interesting that Jaro Tapal gave me the impression he was one of the more warrior-like Jedi, and I can't help but think that only rubbed off of Cal even more, even as he was raised in that war environment.
Not mentioning Zee when going over your favorite new character(s) is a crime. I absolutely loved her and wish that they would have done more with her character.
What I'd love to see: - A further exploration of different eras and aspects of the force. Of course, the story would still take place during the period between Episode III & IV, but what I loved about the first two games is exploring things outside the established Jedi v. Sith & Empire v. Rebellion, like the Zeffo and the High Republic Era. Disney just announced both the official estblishment of the "Old Republic Era" as well as the "Dawn of the Jedi" era, so exploring these eras could give Cal further understanding of what it means to be a Jedi - Cal Kestis not dying. One of the most common misconceptions I feel about a story ending regarding a Jedi who survived Order 66 is that they _HAVE TO DIE_ because they weren't in the Original Trilogy and I think that's short sighted. Ahsoka Tano & Ezra Bridger are still alive nearly a decade after the Empire fell, so why can't Cal be? Especially since the character is modeled after Cameron Monaghan, it could add a lot of he showed up in the Mandoverse or even somehow in this new "New Jedi Order" era with Rey.
I have only read about one third of Path of Vengeance so I don’t know if something later in the book would contradict it, but the way that Planet X was described, made me think it might be Tanalorr. Maybe it’s because I’d just finished Survivor so that was still on my brain but I think it would be cool if they were the same thing.
Haha this must have been recorded before Alex spent more than three hours trying, (and repeatedly failing,) to beat Rayvis in Grand Master on Friday lol for his "Revenge of the Sixth Chill stream." 😂 Because, he'd have clearly had another answer for that; "which was your most difficult Boss Fight?" question! 😊 I feel like we all struggled through it right along with him
If we don’t get a continuation of Survivor. I’m hoping they make a series because they can’t leave it like they did. We need to see those characters back.
I wonder if Tanalorr could show up in the Rey movie. It really depends on what happens in a potential third game, but who knows who could be living there by the time of the sequel era. Maybe a whole other Jedi Order could be living there.
Whether it takes place before or after Obi-Wan Kenobi this year (As in 9 BBY) has been a bad one for Vader. First Obi-Wan walloped him, then Cere. (Databanks specifically make a point of saying Cere got the better of Vader, he was literally inches from defeat and death.)
I’ve seen people get mad over that but to me it kind of make sense. She’s literally surrounded by Jedi archives/books and she had a Jedi master with her AND she has literally faced Vader before (even though it was like 5 seconds) and she almost crushed his chest the first time they met.
@@Squiddy-go1du I mean she even states that she had been preparing for those five years to inevitably face him again. I don’t think she ever expected to not be found by Vader again. And she was pretty driven during that fight to protect her family, the Hidden Path, and the Anchorites. With a cool acceptance of likely dying even if she might beat Vader.
100% positive this takes place before the events of Kenobi. The Path is just starting to get set up in this game, in Kenobi it is winding down or having a rough time working as an underground railroad for people. It was completely unknown to Kenobi and other prominent people who worked against the empire so it's also possible that it was so underground and so secretive that it was a need to know thing. The number of Jedi and the living inquisitors in Kenobi is also a big indication of time.
Love the Jedi Survivor content. Could they use Kata as a playable character next game? She could be force sensitive and the game could be Cal dealing with trying to train his own padawan?
It definitely says the Emergence was to blame for the moon's destruction in a couple Databank entries. As I'm typing it you asked for the entry numbers. I'll be back with that after work!
Entry 230: Fallen Padawan. Name drops the Emergence as what devastated Koboh. 442: Destroyed Wall. Says the calamity that stuck Koboh also ripped it's moon apart. So not a 1 to 1 but transitive property?
I noticed the Senator accuses the Inquisitors of “chasing shadows” while he has been dealing with actual threats which could be referencing the hunt for Kenobi. Still not sure where it is in the timeline though
The attack by the Nihil on Tanalorr seemed to be before the moon gets destroyed though since Dagan is clearly already in the bacta tank. I guess the Nihil were attacking parts of the Outer Rim before the Great Hyperspace Disaster, but it didn't seem like they were confronting the Jedi before that. Maybe I'm missing something, but that makes it seem like the moon would have been damaged by something else.
One of the old droids on the shattered moon mentions the moon was destroyed in The Emergence. Having not read any High Republic content, I was thinking maybe some great beast emerged from the moon.
The Nile are name dropped at least once in the game. Near the end, when you're on Tanelor. There's an echo near the entrance of the temple. You hear someone mention the Nile.
On my 2nd play through I was looking for hints that give Bode away about being a Jedi. When him and Cal are fighting Dagen, when Bode is lying on the floor towards the end of the fight. It honestly looks like he’s the one who force pushes Cal slightly out of the way right before Dagen strikes again! I could be wrong tho.
In terms of when this takes place I honestly think the game takes place before Kenobi because we do spend some time on Nur in the show following the inquisitors but we do not see the 9th sister or hear any mention of her there. I know she could possibly just not be there but it could be an indicator of when the game takes place.
Thank you for the review. I kinda thought Vader was too chill for this to be after Kenobi. After loosing to Obi-Wan, I would think his next victim would be more brutalized by his frustration.
Kenobi and Survivor take place around the same timeframe, but maybe like a week maybe month or 2+ months after the events of Survivor because I think Talia I think that's what her name is said something about loosing contact within the Hidden Path main Network and Cere and the Anchorites Started the Hidden Path.
I’ve got a feeling the game might get a dlc. When looking at the map, all the planets are on one half, but the other half is empty. So I think there’s gonna be a dlc adding one or two planets
The dark side is just an upgrade to the slow “super” ability. Just like every new ability unlocked throughout the game, it makes you stronger and makes the game “easier”. It’s totally fair. That’s why there are enemies, bosses, challenges, etc that feel impossible early on
I totally embraced the dark side for the level that unlocked it because it felt so true to Cal to keep using it, but I refused to use it on Bode even though I never trusted him 🙃
Hardest Grand Master fights for me where Rayvis, 3rd Dagan, and final Bode. Final Bode felt super cheap more than difficult on Grand Master to be honest tho. Figuring out that Rayvis fight tho, man, so much fun!
Yeah I remember getting into the Lucrehulk and gettinb weird vibes from Bode and thinking "aw no he's going to bite it, isn't he?" I was actually worried for his lying ass during the Dagan fight as well.
I'm starting to think that in the third game, Cal just might end up sacrificing himself to save Merrin, or Greez or even Kata. I think the third game is going to be about his internal fight against the dark side. Maybe Vader captures him, he and the emperor try to turn him. If he dies, it would make sense being why we haven't seen him in live action.
Using the dark side almost made the game harder for me, I just wanted to slow time but didn’t want to embrace the dark side so it limited me even more!

@@jordanjohnston8462 Cal has been in the middle since the start of fallen order. Cal uses force stasis which is a darkside ability and he question of how or why he has the ability. But he’s fully inclined to using it to his leisure.
@@jordanjohnston8462Grey Jedi concept is dumb and not Star Wars.
Star Wars is black and white. That’s what George Lucas intended.
@@jordanjohnston8462 thats the whole point. Dogma is bad.
I would love to see Cal coming back to the galaxy and finding the empire being gone
@@watermelone5144ow that they have the Abyss Compass, there's no reason why Cal couldn't still be out searching and protecting for the Hidden Path. So he could still have knowledge of the Empire's existence.
@@TheOnceandFutureJake the third game might present a scenario where Cal and his crew gets trapped in Tanalorr well until the Battle of Yavin and beyond.
@@AyazHamid I guess we'll have to wait and see what they do.
But Cere and Cordova never say they're the head of the Path, just that they're helping. Preserving the Jedi Archive was a personal goal for Cere.
I Leonardo DiCaprio memed when she mentioned Starlight lol
NPC’s talking on the 2nd floor of the cantina with Zee mention an “emergence” and what damage it does, but that is as far as it goes.
Awesome, can't wait to find all these :D
I believe one of the voice lines for the high republic droids on the shattered Moon station specifically says emergence as well.
Scuba Stev is the unmentioned star of the game. I love him so much
There's a force echo that specifically mentions the Nihil by name, not calling them invaders, marauders etc. I believe that the echo is either on jedha or kobo.
It's actually on Tanalorr, it's of Oppo Rancisis exclaiming that the Nihil are coming and that they need to retreat to the temple
Its on Tanalor during the final mission
@@bradyphillips1995 thanks. I knew it was somewhere, lol
Thanks for answering my question! Battle Scars really did enhance Survivor for me overall, specifically with learning & understanding the headspace of each member of the Mantis crew when we catch up with them ☺️
That scene of him flying through obstacles with the nightsister magic, with the slow mode parts, was just epic. Fav game moment ever for me as well.
19:50
See, I had almost the opposite reaction to whenever Bode spoke
I was CONVINCED, whenever he reminded us that he has a daughter, that he was gonna have to sacrifice himself or in someway die for Cal to escape. Was really giving me "Two days left until retirement" vibes XD
So when he finally DID betray us, it was so much more of a gut punch for me
This games story is so damn good!
My biggest question is if the Bedlam Raiders were surviving Nihil since their flag (and the portal to Tanalorr) is identical to the Nihil one
You could say it gives us... A New Hope, that Cal will survive
Merrins change to using her magic from hate to love is so similar to Zuko’s in ATLA and I love it
I think the way Marrin has changed and still accesses the same Nightsister magick is super interesting.
What a cool nod to lightsaber technique. I wondered why they did that, and now I have some lore to read up on. Thanks!
@@MetalFox117 Do look up Trakata. It’s a very interesting concept and even the description of this fighting style is highly accurate.
Love that Skoova Stev is an Adam Sandler Big Daddy reference.
The emergence is mentioned in databank entry 412 (in the lore category and the nihil being mentioned slightly after in entry 430
One thing to note, but the Nihil are said by name at one point on Tanalore, and not just through subtitles like they had been before.
This game emotionally broke me in ways I didn't think possible and I love it
Another cool nod to the high republic is when you talk to toa in pyloons saloon.
5:39 The droid workers on the moon all seem to repeat a common phrase, that being "the sky is broken." On top of that, when speaking to cal, he asks something along the lines of "what did this" to which the droid replies "the emergence"
Edit: check out databank entry 294, "The Koboh Emergence," because that one all but confirms it
"It takes strength to resist the dark side, only the weak embrace it!" I've never used it, except of course in that one cutscene, where you had to, I didn't even use it against those 10 security droids on Nova Garon, I just ran around Merrin slowly brought them down one by one, takes patience, but it works, after talking to Bode, I also just jumped over the troopers and went on.
Cal says in a conversation to Kata upon revisiting the moon that it was destroyed by a “rock” specifically so i would say it was unrelated but at the same time it is also mentioned it was related to the Emergence so I’m not really sure
I love that Skoova Stev is an obvious nod to Scuba Steve!
"Star Wars High Republic Jedi"
Yes, give me a Dagan game :D
9:28 this… like it’s a whole new planet. The whole goal of the game was to get to Tanalor. And we finally do and there’s no animal life two meditation points and almost nothing in between. A temple that’s not even really exploitable. The views were incredible! Just wish there was more there!
Thank GOD you mentioned Skoova. He was the best.
- Lore wise, my favourite addition would probably be showing how many in the Empire are looking at the Inquisitorius as irrelevant and dated.
Skoova was the best! My favorite minor character in Star Wars now for sure. He’s the best story teller since 3P0.
Playing Cere was so cool! I hope we get to play as Merrin in the last game.
Skoova Stev= Scuba Steve...and he takes care of the tank...perfection!
The Jedi: High Republic idea is incredible. I’d also like a Jedi: New Order and to play as one of Luke’s new Jedi before they fell.
Not mentioning Zee when going over your favorite new character(s) is a crime. I absolutely loved her and wish that they would have done more with her character.
Best boss fight was The Door Technician!
What I'd love to see:
- A further exploration of different eras and aspects of the force. Of course, the story would still take place during the period between Episode III & IV, but what I loved about the first two games is exploring things outside the established Jedi v. Sith & Empire v. Rebellion, like the Zeffo and the High Republic Era. Disney just announced both the official estblishment of the "Old Republic Era" as well as the "Dawn of the Jedi" era, so exploring these eras could give Cal further understanding of what it means to be a Jedi
- Cal Kestis not dying.
I don't know if the Emergence is mentioned in databanks either, but I know talking to the droids on the moon, they mention the Emergence!
Theres wreckage on Tanalor, if you scan it the database in game does say Nihil
Haha this must have been recorded before Alex spent more than three hours trying, (and repeatedly failing,) to beat Rayvis in Grand Master on Friday lol for his "Revenge of the Sixth Chill stream." 😂
Because, he'd have clearly had another answer for that; "which was your most difficult Boss Fight?" question! 😊
I feel like we all struggled through it right along with him
inquisitors , popping up a lot in the disney visions series 😂
Only a few in that
Most seemed to be set in old republic times with actual with
I actually liked it a little more than Fallen Order. Regardless, both games combined might be my favorite Star Wars story of the entire franchise.
Both games play very well back to back aswell
If we don’t get a continuation of Survivor. I’m hoping they make a series because they can’t leave it like they did. We need to see those characters back.
seriously after the Merrin kiss moment, that gameplay, after it was over i was like WTF did I just do. It was awesome!
I have to admit that reading Battle Scars is what finally made me ship Cal & Martin (and I don't normally ship anyone).
The moon literally blows up in the cut scene with santari kri and zee when cal first finds zee and views her force echo
One of the droids on the moon directly references “The Emergences” when Cal asks what happened
Love the Jedi Survivor content. Could they use Kata as a playable character next game? She could be force sensitive and the game could be Cal dealing with trying to train his own padawan?
Thats my tought too, like Ciri in witcher 3.
Tanalor seems very much like Lira-san to me.
Once I shut off the AMD, V-Sync, Ray Tracing, and lowered AA, I had zero issues with the PC version of the game.
I knew Bode was gonna screw us over as soon as Cal suggested taking the Hidden Path to Tanalorr. What caught me off guard was the force push
The maintenance droids on the Shattered Moon talk about 'the emergence' being what destroyed the moon.
Btw, The Nihil are called by name. In a force echo Tanalor.
I would love if the timeskip was a bit longer. Maybe like 15 or so years and put us after Jakku
I believe in the game they (Cordova and Bode) specifically suggested that the Nihil stole a compass
Do you think Dagan could appear in a story set during his era of the High Republic?
I was definitely thinking Tanalor had some sort of power Dagan wanted like the planet in the Padawan book
Some fun Purrgil references if you listen to all of Skoova’s story!
I'd absolutely love some expansion content set after the games ending
Skoova Stev is the goat
I can't believe they made "Scooba Steve" a canon character.
