- Welcome to Oklahoma!!
First we check out a super-cool old Conoco gas station.
Across the street is the Dairy King...
The Dairy King is set up in a former Marathon gas station and it's open for business.
Just not for gas... for food!!
It's really cool and the owner is a hoot.
Then do a little drive through Miami, OK,
After Miami we hit the "ribbon highway."
It's called the "ribbon highway" because it's like a little piece of ribbon - it's only 9-feet wide.
Then we come across another Will Rogers Highway Marker.
After that the Historic Pryor Creek Bridge.
The abandoned Chelsea Motel...
The Foyil Filling Station...
And finally - the Blue Whale of Catoosa...

A fun trip into Oklahoma on Route 66, small classic stations (Cookies, Conoco, Marathon), Will Rogers Highway, the Sidewalk 9' wide Highway, the Pryor Creek bridge, and a walk through the Blue Whale roadside attraction!! A new look at the USA and a great ride in the '55!

What type of camera do you use to take the still photos of your car in front of the Route 66 stops?
I’ve been using a Sony A7c @vanishingpoint with a 16-35 lens. Why do you ask?
@@jeffthisted The still pictures you take come out good and they looked more rich and colourful than an IPhone photo.
Thank you @VanishingPoint !! It’s a good little camera but I can mess up any picture with the A7c. The iPhone not so much.
