Reached Kishin with him some weeks ago...he's a mixup monster but unfortunately he's not so good in neutral and as a player you need to compensate with movement and crouch dash cancel
T8 devs specifically came up with Tekken 8 heat mechanics just to move away from Tekken 7s poking meta. The major issue i think heat moves do for Tekken 8 balancing and hold it back from becoming a tournament centric game is its game breaking properties in the hands of top tiers vs bottom tiers. If you compare it to other newly introduced systems like rage arts and rage drives they weren't as offensive as heat smash dash engager. Characters with a average rage drives like Eddy could still compete and win in tournament settings with good enough execution on combos whiff and punishment. With Tekken 8 since its inception heat continues to be the bane of its existence. characters who have S tier heat moves like Dragunov Feng Nina King are specifically S tier because of their heat meanwhile characters like steve raven and other rarely used characters are rarely used especially in tournaments because of their heat moves being such useless Green rank gimmicks like sonic knockdown or heat clinch waste. Tekken 8s rushdown meta has caused more problems than it solved. I think the devs in patch 1.05-6 even mentioned that theyll tone down characters who were too rushdown spammable attack oriented and tune up characters who were too defensive minimally offensive(😂)but even after the patches they replaced top tiers like Law Reina Shaheen Dragunov Feng Nina and King with law Reina Shaheen Dragunov Feng Nina and King. these characters are always in every top 8 no matter which region or tournament with some featuring a Dragunov vs Dragunov mirror in top 8 e.g EWC,Evo US etc. The usual suspects are there every tournament and i think the game will suffer because of it.
Raven’s Heat is one of the best power ups in the game. You explained everything perfectly man. It can’t be understated how strong his Heat is because of how Raven can maintain his Heat bar so long as he lands clone moves. And Heat smash giving a free SZN mix on block is awesome as well
Wouldn't be QCF 1+2 a nice mid that is safe on block and still gives ok damage for his mix up game? Outside of that I guess df 2 is a launcher but it's -13.....
Yesh but its too slow Its strong at the wall though. Best mid for 50/50 with heat is WS3,2 Without heat its up to you depending on how risky you want to be
Who said Ravens heat is bad? Without heat he is bad but in heat he is very strong mistake nr1 b1+2 isnt count as clone attack bro - yes there is clone in animation but clone is not the one who hit) mistake nr2 (u said every clone is -14 on block except b1+2 ....) u have to know fc df3+4 game count it also as a clone (and on blok its -23~-21) so thats mean this move also refil heat meter 3:10 ofc he has good mid there :] ws2 - safe 13i ch launcher safe on block, elbow....one of his best tool Also if u do cd cancell u can do there 1+2 to mix in cd
Underrated Tekken channel

The biggest mistake i make is when the opponent is low health they often times pop rage art after blocking heat clones costing me the round.
Ooo
That's a really bad habit
Think of his clones like a df1
What you want to make decisions based on what they do after they get hit by a clone
Raven in heat is as annoying as the bears. You just watching him play with himself for 60 seconds.
Lmfao
You can make ws 3+4 at tip range -11 aswell. 😎
Yeah

@@GamerNemy without heat, let's say I want something on the less risky side, what would you recommend for me to use?
