CharlieWheaterby thanks for sharing this. It was very helpful
I am age 70, house bound, and, until You Tube came along, was dependent on the two local classical music radio stations (KUSC and KMZT) which tend to have conservative playlists. Something like this Opus 91 just isn't played. Thanks to you, I have heard these for the first time in my life, and they are marvelous. Thank you veruy much for uploading these petite gems.
Harry Andruschak eh noix velho
Aww! That’s so great. Warms my heart
God bless you Harry!
It's an unfortunate reality that most concert programs and recordings of classical music, and non-commercial radio programming to a lesser extent, are limited to a rather conservative (if that is the right word) range of works. Those media must select programming that will generate revenue through sales of tickets, recordings or advertising, and that means selecting works and/or composers that will be familiar to the potential audience.
I guess I am quite randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to stream newly released tv shows online ?
Il est rare d'entendre ces études aussi bien interprétées ... quelle fluidité !!!
I find amazing how much some of these pieces (or at least some passages of these) are reminiscent of Bach's style! I think that n°8, for example, could almost fit in the third french suite, also in b minor.
Thanls a lot for uploading these Moszkowski records I have studied in the sixtiés.
Thanks for sharing!
These are gems.
Great!
really cool
Too much pedal, and the study 18 is played too fast, at least at the beginning, impossible to understand the notes
Well played, but often it sounds over-pedaled.
pianopera yes you're right. But any way... The pianist is a very good professional
