The child will not know from whom the gift came; thus, the grandmother and father of the kid should buy a nice gift and sign it from Santa. Problem solved. Or, on the other hand, tell the kids the aunt does not give a shit about him so no gift. again, the problem is solved, and the hate goes where it belongs. Or disassociate away from the family and be one on to themselves, again problem solved.
No gift at all and singling out the kid is crazy. At least, do something small. Start there and if you build a relationship then they get the same treatment as the others. Its the though that counts, no need to be extravagant right away.
Gift giving has to be grounded in some type of positive relationship, reciprocity, or gratitude instead of just obligation or entitlement. After that, then yes, you have to manage the politics of family dynamics. If the aunt has no relationship with them, then no gift is required, but that doesn't mean for eternity; The dad and the Sister (aunt) should put in the effort to become a family instead or merely gift exchangers.
First. Welcome back
Great to be back.
hi, I heard funding a bank account count towards hitting min spend... what bank account do you recommend if I am hitting min spend with Chase cards? thanks
What can I expect with my flex having the 5% sign up grocery bonus and the quarterly grocery category.
For Hilton if your do the key and don't interact with the front desk that seems you loose the chance to see if diamond can change your view or that you arrived hours early can they get you a room early.
When you have a SUB 5% and a category 5%, you'll get 9% (1 base + 4 bonus + 4 bonus)
Give at least a small gift, but she and her brother/family need to grow up. I say small bc the kid also needs to want to know his aunt. I am sure she will be just as generous once the whole family start acting like a family
She doesn't need to. But she should be just as generous with all her nieces and nephews.
