Malia the queen of Franklin we became dearest friends far back is 74 quickly we came as family we had a full connection with PFunk I became a bass player with the band We established the funk disciples and I was her MD now we both moved to Atlanta And was motivated to bring all the existing girls together from P Funk to do “She Funk” the tour We had the most exciting funky time doing it ended up all the way back in New York at The same club wetlands I learned quite a bit from Mal she was my Big Sister she kept on my toes in business, these days I miss her she was called home on my Birthday Feb.5th She is forever on my heart and mind rest in eternity in the new world state of everlasting life
this woman is my mentor Malia franklin...this is the Cowboy i will always love her she is the Queen funk...Bootsy, and Geroge Clinton ...Charlie Wilson, and many others ...got thier funk on musically with this very special woman...i miss her very much!
Looking at this clip brings back so many memories. Mal was one funky fantastic loving kind hearted woman. She was my mentor and friend. Miss her each and everyday. RIP beautiful.
