wow, thats so amazing. i`m heavy haulage expert since 10 years, but this is so enourmous and special. heating a dirt track with 40km/h speed and a high and dimension of load wich searches long for the same thank you very much for filming and uploading. the first truck sound is soooooo perfect!
I remember this monster. I had to get out of its way just south of Miling. For those of you that don't know Great Northern Highway in Western Australia, parts of it are barely wide enough for two road trains to pass each other on a bend. Just south of Miling the road is just two lanes wide with a skinny shoulder of dirt. When you hear WA complain about road funding this is why. We need better roads to get these huge beasties through safely for everyone
Nobody "backs up" in a sense the pilot vehicles, the vehicles escorting loads such as these, the forward one is at least a kilometre ahead of the truck carrying the load. The two pilot vehicle crews negotiate between themselves as to who gets to go first, but as a rule, size governs who has priority
I hope the crew had time for a break at Kumarina or Capricorn as it is long way between Pubs in the North. If they came from the North, Marble Bar is off the road and Nullagine is hardly worth the pause for a pee. But in saying that I just wish I was back on the roads instead of being retired.
is the oversize signs and blink blinks really needed in this particular citimatation lol the little 345s and d10s i had the plessure of pulling needed em
wot ya mean either a 501 or a 904? its a C504..lol a 908 is only rated to about 120tonnes max...the C504 can drag 240+tonnes. can tell by the grille wot it is...tri drive too..

3:26 somebody drove through a dip in the road, deeper than the suspension travel could negotiate...
I need to change my undies because i creamed in them watching that video!
@cap8687 Think he might have meant c540.
A 200 tonne reclaimer. Are you sure you haven't lost a zero. I can assure you that reclaimer weighs a hell of a lot more than 200 tonnes.
it reclaims and loads..search mining reclaminer
Straya!
over 200tonne rating...if careful with auxillary gearing...HHA has 3 908's that are rated at 250+.
