GM Factory Flattened/Dented Exhaust Pipe? (Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade)

  • I'm not saying for sure that this is an actual thing as I don't know FOR SURE but I felt like why not document it and see if anyone else has noticed this or has seen this to confirm or deny lol seems like it would be a VERY stupid design if it's done on purpose and would also be a very annoying thing to fix when I have no clue HOW or WHEN that would have ever even happened .. welcome to my everyday shit show :)

    Yes that's by design. I think for ground clearance, which is silly.

      I was thinking the same thing but many things around it are lower so GM was drunk here lol the dent has my head spinning though LOL

    May be that is the easiest way to make the pipe flat.😅

      in order to make the upside flat, from factory they press the pipe upside and downside at the same time. Thus the whole pipe comes to ovel. To bend the ovel shape pipe, you have to make a big dent.
