Thank you for this video, I’ve been waiting forever to see more of this weapon, it looks like a true upgrade to the AK platform. But did you say only 7 have been released? Is that because production is just beginning or is it only going to be a limited release?
If there are a kits supply (barrel with gasblock, bcg, front and rrar trunnions, FCG - i.e. everything except reciever, then this construction is not so hard to make.
Is the gas block adjustable? It would be nice to have eight adjustable positions. I guess the KNS piston is a good temporary solution to the over gas issue.
I don't understand why the Russian army does not use a upper-lower weapon like this. The sights keep zero better on a upper rather than on a dust cover. The Akv-521's design is better than the ak-12's one.

Looks like a superior design than the traditional AK layout.
from the point of view of installing modern sighting systems, it is certainly better.
More complicated than the tranditional AK but better in terms of installing attachments

On the Kalashnikov group website they say it's for civilian market. Does not to be a limited release

Is there any concern about the missing rivet on the trunnion? I see that there looks to be an extra one next to the others
