Mine was the 3.0 1KD 2000 Prado TX Ltd. Good car 👍🏻
These are all full-time 4wd (H) with a planetary center differential in the transfer case.
HL is 4wd with the center differential in the transfer case locked.
LL is 4wd low range also with the center diff locked.
The Diff Lock turn button is then for the rear differential lock.

Bought a 2002 3L D4D in 2009 for £10,000. Drove 100,000 miles with £9,000 maintenance. Had to sell it due to the corrosion and the costs of repairs was getting too high. Now with a 2014 icon with less corrosion, that that also will be a problem going forwards.
Yeah rust can be a big problem on these! Great car but anything that is interesting seems to be getting priced off the roads at the moment 😐
@@carchaps Even downscaling to a second hand Honda C90 you are paying £3k for one at 30 years old. I paid £500 for one in 1982 :)
