Cool. Looks like in 2024 I can buy new portable handheld digital TV. I remember back in 2017 Techmoan did an unboxing and review with a portable digital TV DVB-T2 model and it was cool. The problem will be when ATSC 3.0 will be the new standard and that TV will not receive the new standard. Back to handheld TVs unfortunatelly I couldn't find a handheld digital TV, I only found brand new 40 cm camping 1080p TV that requires 12 Volts power, good thing that my model has a 230 Volt power adapter included so I can use it as regular TV. But if you go to a place where there is no electricity or you may experience a power outage the 12 Volt TV is no use if you don't have a car or a car battery and this is why everyone should have handheld TVs, but there can be a scenarios when there is a problem with the broadcasting tower, internet may not work and satellite TV is the only solution.
I think that ATSC 1.0 will be around in some form for a long time. I used an ATSC tuner stick to revive an old analog handheld TV: ruclips.net/video/YyhJDN438oM/видео.htmlsi=KnOPrHJza7fV76V_
The GT media has 1.0 and 3.0 to watch and record TV on a phone tablet and even TV if you have an android box .I recommend onn android box for TV only 20$.
@@NorthcoasterHobby yes thank about it you can record and watch TV on the go .I can also watch 3.0 in a moving vehicle.you can't do that with the other receivers.
You took on the question of 12 volt operation head on. It's a trend that new portable small TV's have omitted the 12 volt cable. Is it sheer corporate stupidity or something more nefarious? I notice that ATSC 3.0 was left out of the picture. That is a good trend. I''ll just stick with 12 volt NTSC analog from times past.
Good idea- however this particular model doesn’t have an AV input. Other models might have that though. I have an older analog handheld that has AV input. I connected it to an ATSC tuner stick. ruclips.net/video/YyhJDN438oM/видео.htmlsi=KnOPrHJza7fV76V_

The only information on the adapter label is input 100-240 V AC, 0.5A, output 12V 1.5A. There is no information about wattage. However W=AxV, so if the voltage is 120 x 0.5 A, then 60 watts. I think that’s how it is calculated.
