On the tire issue. I bought a set of 5 wheels and tires off marketplace for our Rubicon. These stay on the jeep unless we're offloading. Takes maybe 10 minutes to swap when its time to hit the trail. Makes the mud tires last 10 times longer
I like to ride my family and dogs around in our 4 seat sxs. We ride by our self most of the time like you guys do, sometimes my parents come in there sxs. We dont have flashing lights or radios . I dont get why you need groups of 10-20 buggies with music that can be heard miles away. I appreciate that you dont share your loction of spots you find, part of the fun is exploring and finding new spots to camp swim and picnic. Now they are being shared and marked on apps like maprika, and areas are littered and beat down.
The same day there were some folks that came by on a 4 wheeler, super chill and didn't hear them till they were almost on top of us. There two sides in every group and there aren't many hidden locations anymore.
Yep same day we stayed around the bend from you where they came from. They were right behind us coming down on the beach!!!! We tried the other side of the loop first but they were between us and where you were. So we stayed on the loop and came around them then as we started to drop down on the beach they came down right behind us and went your way. We passed by you the next morning on our way out and was glad the loop side you came in wasnt near as tight as the way we came in. That was a really tight trail cool to see that big fullsize rig getting through there.
Great video as always! That mud hole was something I ended up by passing to the left route last time I was out on the solstice. Same as you, long wheel base Tacoma and 33” and didn’t see a tree to winch. After seeing you hit it I’m glad bc that mud was nasty haha. Cheers and keep up the good work.

Just saw you in Ola! The rig looks even better in person!
Thanks!
You're 100% right about the sxs traffic. The rise in popularity of these had also simultaneously seen more destruction in the forests.. sad..
Need a snorkel 😂
Yep, I have plans to build one. unfortunately no one makes one for these vehicles

I've thought about that but I'd be swapping them every weekend and I just don't feel like doing that
@trove1312 you do offload way more than I do! I'd love to get out more but just to busy..

That’s a beautiful area down in there, hope they don’t get it closed! Fun trail too!
@@trove1312 Yea all the bowls they dug out on the south west side of the loop are kinda concerning.

Yep it was a nasty one. I knew the chances of making it were slim but it was worth a shot
what kind of lift do you have on the suburban? I'm looking to build a rig that I can take to some cool spots
Leveling kit on the front and H2 springs on the back
