I have been a barber for the last 5 years. Hardly any of my friends support my career. Only a minority of my hometown people sit in my barber chair. Strangers support me more than my childhood friends.
Not to be rude, but people are very particular about their hair. They may feel like someone else does a better job on them and truly no offense should be taken. Once people have a barber they like who makes them look and feel good, they stick with them, usually. I have two barbers in my family, and my cousin always preferred one's cuts over the other. It's an art, and not everyone's art or skill in the art is the same or may suit you as well as another's might, but it doesn't make you any less. Just wanted to open a possible perspective up to you. However, the least they could do is advertise your business and tell people about it. That's also support 💯
I live in a small town and these people gossip and slander anyone who they think does better than they do… These people can’t even sober up enough for work in all industries here… These people are backwards and upside down… 🙄

Man ... when we visited my family a few years ago, after not having been there for about 5 years, we had breakfast at a diner that my family loves. I personally was happy to see this one girl who happened to still be working there, but there was no judgment on my part. In my opinion, a person is not their job. I was truly happy to see her. However, we never acknowledged each other because she had this really discomforting look in her eye, like she hated seeing me there. Really bizarre.

Whatever I could care less about that all I care about is my immediate family, my real kids and one or two of my closest friends and the few people that do care about us!! And my kids still need their mom even if you and others say differently as I have been thru enough and educated enough to help them more than people think and I am sorry but it's not about mastering other people as much as mastering yourself with God's help! I'm stuck back in my hometown bye default...Mom died and I've been watching over my dad for four years..That's my mission in life,so it seems...I'm surrounded bye haters.The longer I'm here the more they hate...I'm not celebrated as someone who has grown and changed taking care of an elderly parent..They think I am what the rumors portray-some addicted men tally Ill looser that needs to be watched....lol Keep them guessing and ignore there b.s....God sees everything and has blessings and guidance for those that are falsely a cussed and tormented......Hang in there and God bless

Man ... when we visited my family a few years ago, after not having been there for about 5 years, we had breakfast at a diner that my family loves. I personally was happy to see this one girl who happened to still be working there, but there was no judgment on my part. In my opinion, a person is not their job. I was truly happy to see her. However, we never acknowledged each other because she had this really discomforting look in her eye, like she hated seeing me there. Really bizarre.

I left to escape my hometown and create a better life for myself and EVERY time I visit home, I am told that I've changed or I think I'm better than they are etc. Which is nonsense, but lesson learned. Whatever I could care less about that all I care about is my immediate family, my real kids and one or two of my closest friends and the few people that do care about us!! I am a very loving and caring mom who cares more deeply about the world as I know my youngest son does too as we had a great plan together before they lied and did what they did to sabotage it all! And my kids still need their mom even if you and others say differently as I have been thru enough and educated enough to help them more than people think and I am sorry but it's not about mastering other people as much as mastering yourself with God's help! And I am still here by myself and have been for 400 plus days bc of others but I am hanging in there even though I am hurting and I want my youngest son back with me and out of the wrong hands and to be with my other kids and others again that are empathic and not narcissistically abusive to make the world a better place in a non violent non greedy way!

In the end, it's the word of God you need to fill your eyes and spirit with. The word of God will remain even when the world ends, when the wicked mammon system ends. Don't care for those who reject the word or fall away from it, they will be like the grass that is thrown into the fire. Jesus even asked people "do you believe I can do this?", ofcourse they said yes and he healed them. But if they would say no, then that's their belief, same as those who believe there is no hell or punishment, they will continue their wickedness. You give them the gospel and the warnings, and move on, brush off that city.
