I have a bunch of favorite villains. But I'd have to say a mix between Maleficent and Dr Facilier.

Yeah, so this is more from the minds of VP and not VP themselves performing. PattyCake Productions is a fantastic avenue for Layne and Tony to do whatever they want and often utilize existing IPs (mainly Disney) into existing AND original songs/ideas that they craft. The Villains Lair series is one of their longest-running ideas (and my personal favorite of theirs) with both an original story (which follows continuity of Disney films while also adding spins that would make sense in a Disney World that could bring all of the characters together) and original songs (that both fit the featured characters as well as move said story along).
I do hope that you continue watching this series. Not every video is a song for the sake of moving the plot forward but there are a great set of songs in the series.
That was not what I was expecting but thoroughly enjoyable. Ursula didn't look like it did when Geoff was Ursula.
You haven't seen anything yet...and you are gonna LOVE the sidekick episode. Btw pretty sure "Patty Cake" is a Roger Rabbit reference because Layne brain.
Did you know that Tony sews all the costuming for Pattycake? (And occasionally Voiceplay). The costumes, even those shown only a minute on screen, are movie quality. I know because I have a Maleficent costume that they auctioned.
Layne and Tony have monthly zoom calls with patrons. Before Halloween last year I mentioned that I would be wearing the costume and that launched Tony into a quick tutorial on how to cover my natural eyebrows and create the arched eyebrow!
By the way - are you aware that Layne did the graphic design on the shirt you are wearing?
Tony and Layne are just so damn creative!! Pattycake is exactly the bts type theatre job I would have loved when I was younger (hell even now) if only I hadn’t gone down the nursing route haha
I've watched the full series up to their latest one.
I enjoy Cruella because she's so Phyllis Diller
They have a huge catalogue of videos some this villains lair series (2 seasons) and other standalone mashups -will of Oz (black eyed peas and the wizard of oz) the walking dead (sia and the walking dead) marvel and imagine dragons etc. super clever and so well put together and often featuring a few familiar faces (Will of Oz has Eli, Kathy and Earl in it).
Hades is my favorite. When we get closer to Halloween, you should do their Bump in thr Night video. It's great.
Villains Lair is a fantastic series.
There are a lot of various villains throughout the series.
The last one they released is season 2 episode 6 part 1 & 2 Ancient Relics. They're usually one part but it was so long they had to split it in two.
Layne and Tony said in their last chat that they'll be ending the series soon cause it's too expensive to make each episode.
They have a bunch of other fantastic videos as well. 99% are Disney. Only a few aren't.

The VP video “ classical chaos” was firmed there cause they had just done a episode of this series and they thought they’d use the props before they took them down 😁😁
I love the song hellfire ( from the hunchback ) though I don’t care for the movie I still love hellfire , my all time favorite Disney villian song though is “ be prepared” from the lion king , scar’s song is the best song I’ve ever heard 😄 .. but my favorite villian is maleficent, I love her design and the fact she has a dragon form 😄
