You need to read her interviews. She always speaks from a woman's perspective. The beginning of that song was her lamenting God making her male on a whim. She also has a lot of interview celebrity date things on neol.jp Very enlightening on how Avu views life in those discussions
Avu-Chan’s voice is miracle! Her voice reminds me of Prince. Watching her, listening her makes me realize how meaningless it is to categorize human beings to male or female. Avu-Chan is Avu-Chan. And so are we!
This is really informative. I just got back from seeing “Inu-Oh” and Avu-Chan voices one of the characters in the movie and her voice is one of the most remarkable voices I’ve ever listened too. I hope she goes far.
From all the interviews I've seen, avu does seem to be non-binary but uses she/her in English- I think it would be fair to call her a non-binary woman. One of my favorite tweets of hers is about mewtwo (and legendary pokemon) not having a gender Saying she's like mewtwo
I had the fortune of seeing them play live at Deadpop festival a few years back and they are so magical. Avu has amazing stage presence. I remember hearing about the band in 2013 on tumblr. They caused a bit of a buzz amongst international visual kei fans because of the contrast between their sound and their appearances. Avu especially, breaks all the rules of rock anywhere. She's truly iconic.
Im from Brazil and I am in love for avu chan since 2020 and I don't have informations about her ... thank you so much for this video, its so good to listen someone excited about her like me
Fire was my introduction (no pun intended) to Ziyoou-vachi and I have listened to a ton of their music since (my favorite album so far is Ten) and I have not looked back. Avu-chan is such fun to sing along with, I love her voice so much :D
Avu-chan is an absolute legend, He's (Using he/him pronouns in gender neutral context due to Avu being non-binary) one of my favorite music artists of all time (second to Post Malone) and he also indirectly helped me be more comfortable embracing my feminine side when I sing. He also made me feel more comfortable being both feminine and masculine at the same time (I'm not sure how that works but whatever). I love this band so much. It's also sad to see Ruri-chan leave.
Thanks for making this video! Queen Bee has been one of my favorite bands since 2014 but it was always so hard to find their content on American RUclips. I'm so happy theyre starting to get a lot bigger recently!!
Queen Bee has quickly been becoming one of my favorite bands with Asian Kung Fu Generation and Zoro taking the lead spots. I remember watching some sort of RUclips video about them years ago and was fascinated. Then I totally forgot about them until the One Take video with Avu-chan came out. After that they have stayed in my playlist rotation. Avu is really an inspiration for me because I'm at the start of my own trans journey, and I do want to move to Japan. She kicks so much ass and really inspires me.
#1 ZIYOOU VACHI is my FAVORITE BAND E V E R #2 your video was pretty explanatory but you missed quite a bit of stuff and by that I mean you forgot majou gari aka witch hunt which was the first album, you missed the mini album sissin aka losing my god, you missed the first single kinsei, the third single saiminjutsu(my favorite) and you missed their rendition of feels like HEAVEN which was also a secondary theme to sadako as well as their work on devil man crybaby with their version of devil man no uta which really brought them to the spotlite, and finally you forgot to include the fact that the song Venus from the album kirei was a theme in another j-drama that I can't remember the name of rn
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, there is a lot of stuff to cover. I had to cut out a lot of info to keep the video from getting too long. My “Who the hell “ videos are meant to give a brief introduction to the groups/bands. But you do raise a good point. Maybe I should consider explaining the entire history of future bands. Just worried about my videos being 30+ minutes long lol
@@enjoylifemusic9199 you did a good job 👏 I didn't know much of the stuff you mentioned but trust me when I say that a video that's over 30 mins about this band wouldn't go unappreciated. Plus its great for those of us who do not understand Japanese because as you mentioned there is very little info about them. So thank you for the video
he lives in Japan and is pronouncing it correctly. People have talked about how the band spells their name in Romaji differently from the pronunciation. I think it makes the name "look cooler" or something.
Avu-chan does say in "Introduction": "Neither Adam nor Eve", confirming that she's non-binary (although femme).

Thanks for the great introduction to 女王蜂. Avu-chan is cool! Love her swag! The messages in the song “HALF” are indeed powerful 👍

I’ve been trying to find Avu’s twitter. Do you mind sharing? I’d love to follow her!
Never mind, I realized that I was already following her 💀
@@Ponponmomo I tried to give it to you here a bit ago but it wouldn't let me post Avu's Twitter for some reason 😌

They are one of few music groups I can say I'm a real fan of and just want to see them grow.
