Today Im behind the wheel of the new 2024 Ford Ranger ! Its been a while but its definitely an improved midsize truck all around. This new Ranger has been improved in many areas, better suspension, road noise redux and a redesigned cabin. Also new get a new trim the Ranger Raptor which is sure to make some enthusiasts smile! Ford also is making the Ranger available with the 2.7L Turbo V6, but that is not coming till the fall, in the meantime its the 2.3L Turbo 4 or the Raptors 3.0L V6 Turbo!

Just bought my 2024 today. Went back and fourth between 4 brands. Happily settled with it. The 2.3 has been out for a minute and been reliable and this model has been out in Australia for a few years and it seems to be a good buy. Msrp was 40960 for an xlt sport 4x4. Got 3k off it happy

Mine is a 24 Ranger XLT FX4 with spray liner and box side steps for $40,445. Can't wait till it arrives in November.
I prefer the 60/40 backrest fold down like I have in my Jeep GC. It provides 60% flat storage and one seat in the rear. I just leave mine folded down. Very convenient.

13:22 "dash design" was designed for "international" appeal..."honeycomb" vents, large vertical screen. I will wait for redesign and horizontal screen.
There is a lot to like with the new Ranger, but there some quirky omissions and/or cost cuttings tidbits that are disappointing (no split 60/40 rear seat, no push button start in the XL and XLT, etc.). I am also lukewarm on the pedestrian front end styling. I prefer EVERY other mid-size truck’s exterior styling to the Ford. However, I don’t find the styling offensive. Just not exciting. I like the interior update. Solid engine, plus engine option upgrades are nice. I am impressed with real world payload numbers. Lots of function in terms of towing packages, etc. It will be on my short list when buying at the end of 2024. I just wish they would have improved the exterior front end styling more.

For me this is important.. ..the Ranger has Amber Turn Signals in the Tail Lamps and not one review has mentioned this …it’s the only midsize truck to have them….

The Raptor with FORD spelled out across the front is the only good looking front nose. Hopefully it’s available aftermarket.
This truck has been out internationally for 2 years now. There's plenty of aftermarket including the grill.
After taxes and everything you're probably looking at 53ish thousand. For a mid size truck bro... A midsize truck... Not a fullsize!!! Oh no... A midsize truck. That is insane bro.

No its not. My 24 Ranger XLT FX4 with spray bedliner and box side steps is only costing me $40,445. No trade in.
You might get closer to $53K with a fully optioned Lariat, but not an XLT. I ordered an XLT 2WD pretty much loaded out the XLT high package, advanced tow package, technology package, locking rear diff, side steps, and spray-in bedliner and it came to $42K.
This is a half-ton truck
