Hello GOTB! Awesome video and tips for mildew using Whey for blueberry bushes and more!👍 Thanks for sharing!💖 Blessing to you and family! 💕 🦋6/16/2024🦋
Thank you for explaining how and why things you do work. I’ve heard about using milk on things like squash plants but I didn’t bother since I didn’t know why. With the information about the battle of the microbes I know it’s not just a gimmick.
I hear the same internet chatter as everyone else. lol.... I enjoy finding whatever is missing from the average post. You will always find a hidden jewel if you look deep enough. To your point.... I look for what's not being said.
I legit used to just spray my cucumbers and squash with 1% milk. worked every time. Now I don't till, don't use raised beds (too dry above the water table) and I do back to eden film gardening and never have ever had any of those problems ever again in over 10 years. I'm glad you're posting this though for people who still use raised beds and who till.
I’d like to know your take on what you believe is the difference between raised beds. My raised beds have no bottoms with resivors underneath with decaying branches and leaves covered with native soil on the bottom of the bed. I use both compost tea and compost extract. Alfalfa. I don’t till, all of my soil in every bed is about 3 inches cypress mulch. Just curious as to where you see the difference?
Ooh, I can’t wait to try this! 🥰 Powdery mildew has been creeping up on my Champagne currant plant. Thx for another informative and easy to follow tutorial!
You have a legit point, using whey. I use powdered milk to add into my planting hole for my tomatoes to ward off fusirium wilt, and you know it absolutely works. I haven't had a problem with wilt disease in more than 5 years now.
So much great info. And I really like how thorough you are in the details. Plus, your gave a pleasant voice to listen to. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Tap water can be placed in a container and live out in the counter for 24 hours to get rid of the chemicals. Also, if you don’t want to waste milk by only letting it ferment, you can make ricotta cheese and use the leftover whey 😊
This is so cool! I’m in my 3rd year of gardening, and I’m starting to learn about some of the chemistry behind it all. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Much appreciated!
I got it now. Sorry for asking before watching. Your videos are greatly informative and I'll be following and learning from you as long as your making these. I appreciate how your helping the earning community. Thanks for making these videos it's gonna help a lot of people. ❤

With the sharing of your gardening wisdom and the clear, calm instructional content, I am knowing that your channel will surely thrive and blossom as bountifully as your blueberry harvests!! Thanks for the whey tip; I am going to use it with my PEACH tree that the aphids love!
For years we have been making kefir. My dad, told me a couple of years ago to water my blue berries with it. I had 3 blue berry bushes that were struggling. The one i started giving kefir water took off with lots of growth. I immediately started giving it to the other 2. One unfortunately died due to my dog digging it up. But the other 2 are thriving. Now i'll start spraying the leaves too.
Appreciate this tip, brother. I'm gonna use this in that same sprayer I've got next week. Got some pest pressure and powdery mildew on some of my giant squash leaves.

WOW super great content! People need know more about this! As for preservation you can mix the whey with molasses to make it more stable and keep in the fridge. Also a ration of 10/1 part water to whey is surly enough microbes and will keep mildew and pest at bay! Nice video!
