It's very telling and sad what Margaux Hemingway says in the beginning of this. That committing suicide is perfectly rational if you can no longer do what you truly enjoyed doing. Margaux's happiest time was her modeling career, something she herself could no longer do.

I think that it's always better to continue living, I've suffered a mental illness for many years, and was suicidal for years at the beginning of it, and I still think that it's always better to continue living. You can reach new levels of conscience, new experiences, the little things of life that are good, and simply the duty to live and go through tribulation, grow, etc. I'm a believer in God, of course, and I believe in heaven, hell, etc., that's another reason why I always kept going, although I almost had a suicide attempt. I'm glad I'm still alive and I pray to God that I always continue and never attempt suicide. 0:07

@@Adeline9418 she's not the only one left. There is still a sister Muffet, 11 years older than Mariel and she's basically ignored by Mariel. She's gorgeous, too. Not quite like Margaux was but a lot prettier than Mariel. Mariel is very masculine looking. Muffet is now 73, and still looks great. So, Mariel is not the only one left.
Actually, in looking at limited photos on the internet of Joan aka Muffet, She might have been prettier than Margaux.
I'm just so partial to Margaux because I personally have just been in awe of her since I was 12 years old. I think she is one of the most beautiful women ever.
She also had this personality that just radiated and was so amazing.
And when you see her in interviews she really is an angel.

I wonder what year that footage was filmed. Margaux died in 1996? 1997? She was still beautiful here. That husky vice and those cheekbones were still striking. its unfortunate that people were so unkind to her after her modeling career was over. Fashion models move on to other things. it seems like Margaux struggled a bit.

Something isn’t right: She says “as a kid I always avoided this area right here it totally freaked me out”.... but she didn’t find out he killed him self there until her LATE 20’s?!! I think even I knew Earnest Hemingway killed himself before my early 20’s and I’m 15 years younger then her with no connection to this family at all.

I agree. I believe she knew something bad happened there and that's what scared her, not that she might have known all of the details. I doubt she was left in the dark by the time she was 20, most people who knew Hemingway by then would have known, especially family. . . haha.

I feel like when we mature out of whatever it is we were doing in our youth, we must take stock and find new purposes and figure out what nature or God is telling us comes next. Sometimes we are just to remain for the younger generation and help them become. Soon enough we will naturally depart this earthly plane of existence, soon enough. I just learned that Hemingway killed himself.

not sure who told her that "grandpa spent a lot of time writing in there" (Ketchum house). EH did very little writing in that house. The beginning of his demise had already started when he and Mary moved in. EH did the 95% of his writing in Key West and Cuba; and also in Europe in the 20s.

Why did Mariel say that Margaux was stupid?

    • @5hadœwbånnedbyyou
      @5hadœwbånnedbyyou 10 месяцев назад +1

      Rivalry untold.
Margaux had access to pursue to a spiritual journey and Mariel didn't.
I cannot understand how she fell short of finding her true self. I don't want to assume anything, because I wasn't even born when these women were officially at odds quietly.
But it's damn sure pretty clear that Margaux was being contacted by energies she either didn't understand or was afraid of in private.
She was still brave for admitting her addiction on television during the 90's.

How come there isn't more content on Margeaux on RUclips? Like her singing on the Late show? She was more then Beautiful...she had such a great voice and personality!! Sorry but after watching "Running from Crazy" I don't like her sister Muriel as much as I used to...It seemed like all she did was put her sister down, calling her stupid, saying that she hated being compared to her...What I wouldn't give to be compared to Margeaux! By comparison Muriel may be a better actress but she just seems boring to me...RIP beautiful Margeaux!!
