My husband and I saw this movie last night. I expected just another “nun” story. Instead I watched the struggles of Italian immigrants in New York and a group of nuns who also struggled to help them. What a marvelous uplifting movie! The tenacity and determination of Mother Cabrini is a model to all young women who answers the call of God. Honestly, I bought tickets only to support this movie. Instead I gained spiritual support to do more for others in need. Wonderful acting and production. Thank you👏👏👏

A priest once said, " You watch and read about saints, and you become one." I wholeheartedly believe in this statement, having had a profound conversion experience 16 years ago where God intervened through Mary to save my marriage, having led a life of promiscuity. The movie Sound of Freedom moved me to tears. I have seen some reviews about Cabrini, and it is exciting since I am a refugee coming to America at the age of 14 without parents and being in the foster care system. I will see some of that experience come to light in this movie. Thank you Angel Studio for your mission to bring others to Christ.

I was raised by Cabrini’s order in NJ. Love was the core of their teaching. So the film touched me directly in the heart.

Just saw the movie a few hours ago and tell everyone to see it. It truly is a masterpiece and what an actress! I will see it again and cried through half of it. I told everyone I spoke to to make sure they see it. I can tell she is beautiful inside and out. Made me really look at my own life as a Christian! Thank you for playing the part. You were meant to play the part. At my old age(79) I have seen a lot and know you can only grow from this!

It is a spiritual experience which touches one soul, one’s love for the Holy Trinity. My hands naturally folded as a Catholic does when she/he prays. I found myself at different peaks that engulfed my love for God bringing my hands as Blessed Mary does pointing straight to God. My head was spinning with such spiritual feelings that me physically dizzy. Those physical feelings dissipated as the peace and love for my Lord, my God, and the Holy Spirit engulfed my soul with graces. I cried and cried with no control like the tears were tears of love, and joy knowing Mother Cabrini spread God’s charity amongst His Children because He loves Mother Cabrini so much. His plan was to bring Cabrini into His world for such good reasons to spread His love. Thank You God for giving us Mother Cabrini in this movie, so too, thanking God for the actress and children actors. Amen

I love this film, in every part. Being Italian, I want to compliment the director for choosing Italian as the language for every conversation that supposedly had happened in Italy, or among Italian speakers. Also compliments for the accent of Mother Cabrini, from Lombardy, not a neutral Italian accent. But really, everything in this film was just perfect. I imagine that this film will make history, and teach to many how to make a movie.

Looking forward to watching this film this weekend. Angel studios is becoming the place to go to have an emotional experience that also brings something of an understanding or strength of faith in one's self to the viewers life.
In some ways i maybe selfishly dream of a movie script to find its way into their studio that would convey the struggles and drive within that drove Edward Curtis to leave his own family behind to capture the last of the native American culture that was existing at the time. And if by chance one could get Gary Oldman to play Curtis's part it might be magical as he has a likeness to Edward and is even comfortable to the wet plate process.

One of the most BEAUTIFUL films I've ever seen. The actress who played CABRINI was outstanding! I really felt she WAS CABRINI. Her facial expressions, her demeanor and her beauty added so much to the beautiful story! I'd love to see her as Bernadette of Lourdes in an upcoming movie. Her fragility and STRENGTH were true gifts she shared with her audience! I've seen this film five times and was never bored a minute! It was truly a REMARKABLE and INSPIRING film. God Bless YOU ALL. I wish when my father was put in a Catholic orphanage he received these examples I think he really wanted to be a strong father, but he was so hurt by the things that were done by his own family, and also being the youngest at this orphanage, that was mostly developed for juvenile delinquents, that he did not have her loving example. May my prayers for him although I do not know what him and Guard may have discussed in the last days may he one day be in heaven need a God who loves him and mother and mother Cabrini. May the babies that we have rejected in this society either from ignorance Or fear, and worst of all the lack of love May are babies be greeted by mother Cabrini one day. One of the things he missed out on what is having a Christmas for this orphanage all it was was church and Bible study all day no gifts he didn’t understand why my mother struggled so hard to give us the best of the best on Christmas and a lot of that was she did not have that at all times but she did as far as family getting together and cooking Norwegian and Italian foods when money was available, they had presents or at least she ended up with a pet and A toy. mother Cabrini, during Christmas would say filled the buckets filled them all the way up with candy because we don’t know what happens tomorrow. She died two days before Christmas but she even in her dying breath. Wanted the kids to feel important. This is why I pray what I pray as you talk about this movie.. Dear Jesus, thank you for mother, Cabrini’s example

Better to be subtle with religious fervor. The breadcrumbs are quite evident.
The storytelling had the good tastes to not belabor the obvious with a pulpit pounding about that which is already overtly integral to the subtext of the entirety. The impetuous to every action of mercy and charity is hardly obscure.
I mean... is anyone really confused about WHO nuns have committed themselves to?
You compell the lost with lead examples of relatable Grace, rather than uninvited lectures on theological dogma.
The movie places the appropriate pebble in an audiences shoe and shows them how a certain sturdy insole would aid a more purposeful journey, without demanding them to buy that new brand of footwear or else.
Far from being too timid, this exhibits a very elegant confidence that embues trust with the viewer who engages that they can easily intuit what caused the effect in all of what's readily available for inference. No one appreciates being browbeaten. But an invitation to explore one driven life of courage and compassion, compells a curiosity and even craving to consider the conviction. Which is a far better tact than patronizing and pandering with on-the-nose sermons for an esoteria on a topic which really ought to require deeper examination than can be adequately conveyed in laced mentions within a story that must prioritize practical events in order to succeed on its premise. Just plant the seed and inspire that cultivation to grow in its own good season. God's indelible truth will nurture the rest once the potential for flourishing is clearly shown possible. The conditions of Holiness won't go undetected.

The movie bring to life important moments in the life of Saint Franchesca Cabrini. It helps to understand what is the mission ad gentes and why it is important to hear Gods message and accept his plans with a humble heart. There is also a weakeness in the script due the absence of pray, mass assistance, visits to the sacrament. Franchesca was a womane of faith and constant pray and this is not portrayed in the film. Also, Jesus is not mentioned in the movie.

Not once did I hear him praise the reason this movie shone like a jewel: the main actor, CRISTIANA DELL'ANNA ! It’s a good story, well done movie (visually) but the problem is.. it’s all works. We don’t get to heaven by doing good works. Only by believing in Jesus. And was very surprised that God (and Jesus) was never mentioned…. It’s not about making good movie, it’s about leading people to the Lord, and testifying about the goodness of God. Not the goodness of men.

Christiana missed the mark on the takeaway. Mother Cabrini did not believe in herself, she believed in God and that nothing is impossible for God. DEI is a modern invention. She loved others as Jesus loves. I get that you are trying to appeal to a wider audience, Mother Cabrini, and any Saint, is fully centered on God. This said, I truly hope it is life changing for many. God can work miracles with even the smallest consent of our wills.
