I had a small shop sample (2022) of Lindores inaugural, no notes but impressions were excellent for age, yet somehow not my flavours/spectrum. Overly tropical? Will surely produce excellent stuff in future. By the way, Jen and Rachel from The Grail had an interesting visit/tour, I think ~2 vids?: www.youtube.com/@TheGrailTastings Have tried a few Ardnamurchans and after initial meh for forgotten batch kindly poured by a friend, have since been really impressed by pretty much everything else, e.g. AD 04.22, etc. *Really* good single casks (CKs). Mostly (non-CKs) pretty reasonable prices. Fascinating Ardnageddon feature by Dougie on dramface.
I will be trying some Lindores and Ardnamurchan soonish... I'm looking forward to the experience.
I hope you enjoy the new distilleries
I'm hoping that Lindores starts producing 8+ year statement bottlings.
In about 4 more years :-)
@@WhiskyJason1 - I'm not sure if it's on the roadmap though - at the minute the focus seems elsewhere.
older age Statements will be coming
Clydeside Stobcross is fantastic, floral and tropical, very characterful.
I don’t understand much your review
You should try it again
I was not impressed by this whisky - sorry
I’m thinking about starting a distillery… I’m going to call it Hype Distillery. I’ll only sell 3 year old inaugural releases all for $100+
Love it - Hype Distillery!!!
