Thanks for the update Evan. 1-Fox and Trouba played through their injuries because Laviolette's overall goal was to win The President's Trophy. The Training and Medical staff gave the green light. The eye test proved otherwise. You were right on target about sitting both of them. Yet, when I put the question Staple on The Athletic, I said the coaching staff believed and endorsed that Fox and Trouba on one leg were better than Jones on two legs. Staple couldn't find a way to agree with me (not that he has to) and look at it differently and question Lavi, etc.2-I have a gut feel that if there is a trade shipping out Trouba, it's Anaheim, if it's not on his list of 15 teams. 3-Another issue that's not talked about enough is if Trouba stays and he's a third pair d-man at 8M, why can't Mika be a 3rd line center at 8M? I guess Drury wouldn't like the optics for either or both. But, hey, he can say he didn't sign either one of them, his predecessor did.
Why would ANY team take Trouba and that massive $8 mil cap hit? He sucks.
