This is my first ever RUclips comment. When I met my wife, then girlfriend, in 2014 I was listening to this song. She ended up really liking this song as well. I just lost her to cancer about a month ago and coming back to listen to it is incredibly painful and incredibly happy at the same time. She wanted to listen to music a couple of days before she passed and demanded I play this. She said it always reminded her of why she fell in love with me. Memories and all.
A kid with suicidal thoughts back in 2012 turns the tide and 2021 became an engineer because of this song.. thanks for the memories. I came not because of recommendation just for my nostalgia.
I’ve been listening to this song for years and let me tell you, it saved my life. During those years I was depressed, suicidal, and constantly having bad thoughts. But when listening to this song it helped me everytime. When I felt like driving off a cliff I would put this song on and I would forget everything. Ever since then I’ve been better and cured from my depression. Thank you Stephen for saving my life, I owe you buddy. :)
Bro we're all tied to this song on a cosmic level. Reading other peoples comments about the nostalgia and borderline sadness they feel hearing this now is sad but kinda neat. Keep smiling people, new songs will tie to new memories, keep hopeful!!
I thought I first became a Stephen fan when he released Crossfire but I can't believe that this song is also his meaning I've been here since the beginning! :D
This is the song I was listening to as a depressed stoner kid, getting high to the drop and jumping on a train that would take me away. 8 Years later already 4 years sober and I feel like that same train is now taking me closer to the dreams I thought I could not ever reach back then. What an absolute masterpiece. Every second. Thank you.
dude i have searched for this song for sooo long now.. i had to access the deepest corners of my memories but i finally found this shit!:D i love that moment when you remember the name or a lyric of a song and find it again ^^
Almost a month ago i was looking for a song that reted in my memories for a long time, and found out that it was actually two songs that my brain mixed in one amazing song. Plot twist
Alter ego - rocker.. That was one that you had to hum and people knew what you were on about but also didn’t know the song. Some saint in a house party knew once.. it was glorious
This song is so therapeutic if you just put some headphones on and lay down with you music on in flat out darkness. I know, I'm probably weird but I love it! ✌🏼️
I saw picture of a jet with a sound wave behind it. Immediately thought of this song. I came back for the memories. Needed to be reminded that life changes, i remember being in a dark place and this song kept me going, today i am grateful that i have gone through it and overcame it. From a teenager, to now a 30 year old man who is in a much different place with multiple things to be grateful for. May this song do for you, what it did for me ❤
To anyone reading this, i just wanna give you a virtual hug. It means we went from being kids listening to the best music genre in the world with no worries to adults with responsibilities. Glad you're still here tho :) Happy 2022. I turn 22 years old this year
I heard this way before I heard his more recent songs and I remember really liking it! But that was some years ago now and when I first heard ''Crossfire'' I didn't thought a single thought that it was the same Stephen that made Bullet Train. Not a single one of his other songs made me remember this song and I probarbly wouldn't remember it ever if I didn't saw it on his channel today. It feels really weird that the Stephen I know have made this song, doesn't make any sence now but I'm glad he changed and kind of found his own style that he has today
I just checked out his new stuff and yeah, I agree with you. I´m kinda disappointed, it´s waaaaaaay different than this Bullet Train Masterpiece. If he is happy, that´s cool, but for my ears is very very difficult to understand how someone who created something so deep like this song is now creating music that seem to be inspired in pothead unicorns morning groans
Well, that was defintely not what I meant if u took it that way - I LOVE his new style so much and the music he produces Today is why he is one of my fave artists. This song is still good on it's own but in comparison with his newer music it doesn't seem to fit in.
Listened to this at 15 playing black ops 2. Now I’m 25 and thankful that the internet exists so I can come back whenever I want to relive old memories.
I listened to this song when I was passing through the worst momento of my life and it gave me clarity, now 10 years later I'm absolutely grateful of hearing it back in the day, and yes, life is like a bullet train, it won't stop just because you're not ok
All these years later and her voice still gives me massive chills. The nostalgia is crazy. I'll never forget this song and I still love it like I did then, after so many times listening to it. ❤❤
I heard this song for the first time when i was 13 years old playing black ops 2 with the boys, Im 22 now and the memories are just flowing...time flies❤ Peace, Love and Happiness I hope life is treating everyone well.

Nostalgic 2024🤌🏽♥️👉🏽
Yeah and just now realizing that it's by Stephen...
I was 17 when this came out, back when I used to produce EDM tracks. I used to wish I could produce something like this. I'm turning 28 in 2 weeks. I hate how fast time flies. And the nostalgia is hitting me so hard, I feel depressed. Fuck.
Keep working on it, you can do it buddy. Just started to produce music again too when i came across this banger a few weeks ago again after almost not listening to it for 7 years
@@Venox_MK8 i have stopped producing since almost 7 years ago. It used to be my passion when I was 17 - 19.
you wrote "in 2 weeks" and youtube tells me that your comment is 2 weeks old ... so ... happy birthday :D
@@laventiadimadore it's on November 16 haha. Thank you for the bday wish! You're going to be the only person who has wished me a happy birthday this year. So whoever you are stranger, this feels special. Thank you!
@@AR777bomb So my Friend. Today is the 16th of November, at least for me and hopefully for you too :D I wish you a Happy Birthday and hope you are well :D
