ive not been able to afford an okay pc for the longest time possible so ive been playing games from my xbox series s. but since the starfield launch happened, i was mad at the game for not allowing us to play at 60 fps even with the lowest possible settings with 480p native res since i dont enjoy 30 fps :D. smoothness over quality anytime. therefore i sold my soul to the demon and bought the necessary parts for a desktop. didnt receive all the parts yet but wanted to see how my future gpu would perform, so came here and suddenly fell in love :P totally agree with your conclusions and i will be copying ur graphics settings. really glad that i found your channel; apart from the pc stuff, even the way you talk sound appealing. thanks for the videos, next on my playlist is the msfs 2020 video. wanted to give a simple feedback, compliments from turkey
After 2 hours of poor graphics and crashes, I uninstalled the game and got a refund. I'm not paying AAA price for a broken and unoptimized game. Maybe if they fix it later I'll play it, but for now, I wont support a lazy company. I wish more people would do this instead of modding, then companies would be more concerned about their consumers when it come to a game release. Now they don't care because consumers do the work for them and still pay full price.
And then they have the nerve to say it's optimized and that you just need to upgrade your PC. What is that shit? We have games that run and look better on older hardware...
Typical Bethesda, the old pig of an engine called Creation. They really need to move on from it, it's always had issues....While the game it self might be pretty good, the performance of most Bethesda games are terrible and people need to stop buying their games. Heck they don't even fix the games them self and let the modders do all that work.

i totally agree with you that the game does not look NEARLY good enough to justify being that much of a performance hog

The game is a joke, terrible performance, ugly graphics... full of glitches and bugs.
