    I'm watching you after I got Frustrated this morning mines an 87' same problem but just happened last weekend.
    Thank you for being a source of laughter after being Frustrated 😆
    Dang It...LOL I replaced my Lock cylinder first this morning and that didnt do it :(
    I'll keep messing with it I guess.

      @amgdiablo mine for some reason, the part of the column that would rotate if it was column shift to select gears was rotated and wouldn't allow the key to release. So mess with the column (just by hand) see if it's rotated, I didn't think it would matter because floor shift but it mattered.

    If the ignition switch is faulty, can it cut the electrical power to the engine? Mines will turn but nothing will turn on or turnover. It waa turning over then in a split second nothing.
