Nice to meet you. I am Japanese. As many comments have pointed out, there seems to be a mistranslation of the "Future Devil" line. The meaning of "MIRAI!SAI-KOH!" is "Future! Wonderful!" The line he told Aki was, "You will die the worst and worst death." The "Future Devil" looks forward to Aki's death like a vulture. Living in Aki's eyes is like watching a game from the VIP seats.

Well "Mirai Saikoh" can also be translated as "The future is wonderful/amazing" if you read it as one sentence.
I notice that since I remember from the manga so it was weird they miss translated that
"Future! Wonderful!" and "The future rules!" means the same thing... And in this case, it's closer to amazing than wonderful.
The voice actor for the shark fiend is the same voice actor as tanjiro, and he's really good at playing crazy characters. .

It's amazing that even though it's an normal episode in terms of animation (compared to the others) it's still so good after 10 episodes, Mappa is really doing an excellent job here. Makima for me is one of the scariest and most interesting characters in Csm by far

akiangel meet up looks like a scene from a romance movie. the background is sooo chaotic but it looks like time slowed down and all you can hear is the two of them talking. plus it's kinda dark so angel's halo is like a romantic candle light.

The Angel Devil is actually a 'He' & hundreds of years old. Everyone is going to Love Beam too. The only negative thing I feel in this episode is how Aki doesn't even have a single drop of blood on his shirt after so much slicing. It's subtle details like that which bring a little more 'feel' to the scene. Good to see that some Of the Boys understood the Meme when Makima was confronting the Mafia

Just an FYI, there was a translation error or something in the subbing this episode, because where the Future Devil says that Aki’s death will rule, he actually said that Aki will die the worst way possible. Or atleast he did in the manga in the same scene, and this line change completely changes the feel of the following events.

Not a spoiler, but in the manga the Future Devil tells Aki that he will “Die in the worst way possible”, instead of saying his death will rule. The way he says it in this translation makes it sound like Aki will have some kind of cool/epic/heroic death.
I believe that "But that's all" is a jab to every other op anime that suddenly got op when they can see future. It is a great ability but it doesn't boost your raw power or mana and they were giving us a reality check. There are a lot of Reality checks in CSM even though it isn't reality.
I think the angle was more of a "Just because he knows the future that doesn't mean he gets no credit for these feats". He's slicing all these hands and the other character says he has gotten better so it seems like it was all on the power-up, so it needed to be cleared out what the future devil does and how much of a power-up it really was; that he can JUST see a few seconds ahead, all this badassness, AND failure, is still part of Aki's feats and why he got a bargain in the first place. At least that's what I think from the anime. There isn't that many popular anime that use time and don't show a weakness to it.

I do wish the subs had been a little better the last couple episodes, especially with the translation regarding Aki's fate. The Future Devil essentially telling him it'll be the 'worst fucking fate possible' holds a lot more weight than 'your death will fucking rule'. The ominous feeling we got in the manga, the true sense that Aki is NOT destined for a fun time in this life, really settled in at that point. BUT! Mappa is still fucking killing it EVERY EPISODE and that's just a beautiful thing. I'm thankful groups like the Normies can enjoy this wild, emotional ride.

There was a mistranslation on what the Future Devil said about Aki’s death. He was supposed to say “you’re gonna die in the worst way possible” not “your death is gonna rule”
It's strange how the future devil scene was changed. In the manga he says "you're going to die in the worst possible way” idk if they translated it incorrectly on purpose to confuse the viewers, but just as a reminder, anything a devil would describe as awesome or positive is most likely bad since they prey upon the misery of others, especially humans.

Btw that whole group was not fiends when referring to fiends they specifically call them fiends and not devils so the only fiends were the shark fiend and violence fiend the spider and angel are referred to as devils so they are not fiends.

Makima let the attack happen, because thi way she will get more power over Public Safety. It was hinted in the end of episode 9.
When Makima says wrt necessary evil, “unless the nation itself is holding the leash and maintaining control.”, Suraj interprets that as the government. I think that line flew over his head. A nation not to be confused w/ country or government, consists of its people and the necessary evil that Makima speaks of is only effective if and only if it serves the people. Of course this is wrt a democracy. Also, Micky is correct. ¥200,000 is something like $1500 so probably not a lot of money to a gangster. Basically the price of a pistol, a couple of magazines, and maybe 1k rounds of ammo.
