RIP Diana, such humility after such a fabulously successful career is very educational.
Nice to see the charming side of Stephen when he’s smiling and talking without the “hard”.

A fabulously iconic, wonderful, beautiful, strong lady who held her own with every other star who appeared opposite her on stage or screen. What a delightful dish! She is forever one of a kind... RIP Dame Diana, light up the heavens...

Some actors are loved by the camera.
    She was one such.
Her portrayals are always intelligent and interesting. You watch her because you literally can’t take your eyes off of her.
    Even now.
    She had the it factor.

What a great woman Dame Diana Rigg is. So accomplished and yet so unassuming. In her presence, Stephen Sackur’s usual “nasty” style was nowhere to be seen. This episode should be more appropriately named SOFTtalk.

Stephen Sackur actually tried to be charming and pleasant. He really must like her, probably fun memories from his teenage years. Nice interview and interesting lady. Her daughter is a wonderful actress too, played Milly in Bletchley circle and Winston’s daughter in Churchill’s secret. Too bad Diana Riggs passed away recently, this interview was from 2016. One less with personality, skill and star power.

I think by saying she was "lucky", she is selling herself far too short. She obviously received opportunities because she was hugely talented, intelligent, and probably in some cases, because she had "the look" they were looking for. Nothing wrong with that -- after all, there's no denying she was beautiful when she was young. However, she had a huge list of other fine qualities to go with it, even in her later years.

So sad to see Diana use the word "actress" to describe herself, while the interviewer ties himself in knots with PC notions that "actress" is a bad word, saying things like "many actors - female actors - say..." . There is a word in English for "female actors" - use it!
Political correctness (and it's not correctness in this case, it is error) will be the death of us!

She was just an actor. Any intelligent individual who has lived life understands the human condition. These peoples just pretend it's some sublime job they do. Its just pretending for a lot of
    Money.
