Voici une astuce qui marche bien pour moi pour les différencier : si on peut remplacer par he/she, c'est who, si on remplace par him/her, c'est whom. Plus facile à l'écrit qu'à l'oral quand on n'est pas fluent mais c'est un bon départ :) Tu confirmes l'astuce ?

I have been learning English on Cambly for two years and half and I feel like I am getting worse the more I practise. Maybe, it's quite normal?! I started from scratch with Adrien so I would like to say " Thanks a million Adrien"! You're the best English teacher (who is French) I have ever had!
Je ne comprends pas la différence entre who et whom. Les exemples sont pratiquement les mêmes entre : The women whom you met yesterday is my aunt AND The man who is talking to John is my brother
The woman whom you met yesterday is my aunt -> You met SOMEONE yesterday -> ici SOMEONE est un complément donc -> whom. The man who is talking to John is my brother -> THE MAN is talking to John -> ici THE MAN est un sujet donc -> who. Est-ce plus clair pour toi ?
