to the author "someday this will be an episode of the twilight zone or a movie" i think thats the highest praise possible to the doc thankyou again from the bottom of my heart that was a phenomenal narration as always to everyone else have a wonderfull evening (or morning) cheers to life!!!
Not quite "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". This is way more civilized and nuanced. Plus Texas Chainsaw Massacre was very loosely based on one man from Plainsfield Wisconsin named Ed Gein
Hey Dr, im shipping off to Camp Pendleton come sunday, i will miss your stories and your godly voice. Keep up the great work and i hope to listen again in 12 weeks!
That was an exceptional story tonight. You did a splendid job with the narration. The characters were well developed and it had an amazing plot. Thank you. Have a marvelous Thursday @Dr. Creepen 💖
I imagine Gunnar a man in his late 50s early 60s, with a sturdy old man frame that’s not fat but not too skinny. With an eccentric bushy grey and white mustache that curls slightly and a bushy goatee that comes to a point a few inches under his chin. Great read thank you to the author and to the doc. Found your channel last year. I’m recovering from a crippling heroin and fentanyl addiction and your channel and story telling has helped me through the rough times. And kept me going through the good. I listen ever night before I go to sleep it’s my night time ritual that has helped me immensely.
🎼 The horrors at night 🎇 give us such a fright! 🎵 Deep in the heart of Texas!!! 🎶 Thanks for making my evening complete, Dr. Creepen. 😊 You're the best!!! 🏆💜💙💚💛❤
So I stumbled across this while looking for part three of this story. Dr Creepen, your voice puts me in the mind of an English Morgan Freeman. I subscribed and I am happy to have another narrator to binge listen.
What an amazing story! To the author Starlessandbibleblack, you should feel proud of your work. An excellent read, narrated by an excellent narrator. So many turns of events that I surely never saw coming! What a way to start the day!
When I was a child in Illinois when we lived in a town called Carpentersville,my mom had a friend whom resembled Santa so he played him for me and my sister for a few years but one night he went outdoor drinking and disappeared he was found still in his car a month later, decapitated car wrecked in the woods his name was Gunnar Hansen
Good evening Doctor, and Good evening everyone! Hope you are all having a great evening! I'm looking forward to this one as I came very close to leaving England and going to live in Texas a few years ago!
This story is an interesting psychological experiment. Not of the characters but the reader. What does it mean that you can feel empathy for cannibals? What could we be talked into. Have a splendid Thursday, Doc.😉😊
Psychologically this story plays off the darker side of our survivability, question is how long would it take to lose sanity or have a city/village of serial killers without the world finding it?
Well, people have certainly done cannibalism and even far worse. Humans can be talked into literally anything with the right circumstances and enough time. The madness of crowds (mob mentality) accelerates this flaw exponentially. Humans are the worst and the best animal simultaneously 😉
I loved the story and narration, but I Never felt sympathy for any of these characters. I strongly wished all along the story that they would be tortured and killed by someone. Sadly, it went the opposite way...
I like that the tone and mental lens the story is told through matches the coldness of the characters themselves. It's not including things nor angles which are not present in their own minds.
❤❤❤ Thankyou again, It's taken me 3 days to finish this! Fallen asleep every day n had to start from where i fell asleep! Amazing story and your voice n narration relax me so very much! I can't sleep without your voice anymore! Bless you n Sweet 1's ❤❤❤
I sent my best friend this link... She just moved to Texas... I told her that she needed to listen to this just in case she ever broke down in her car...she was not amused... 😂😂😂😂
They've got me through the sleepless nights of heroin withdrawal, the Doctor has a voice that was the ONLY thing that managed to allow me some sleep at that horrible time of my life!
Glad you guys have found a respite. Keep fighting the good fight, Guys. The best part of being really down? You can only go up from there. Remember: you will always be stronger than your problems. Peace, love and happiness, Guys. ✌💜💙💚💛❤
@@enlightenmentworldunited8545 Oh god, they are so horrible! I used to get them all the time for ages! I couldn't work out what was causing them, but they almost stopped overnight when I got rid of my (now ex) wife. I still got a few every now and then, but they stopped completely when I stopped consuming any alcohol. I still remember the first one I had, honestly thought that I was dying.
I usually only listen to the supernatural stories but I listened to this one for a few minutes to see if it is was one of those and I got so interested that I listened to the whole thing and it was one of the best ones I've heard yet! Great job author and doc!
@@ORVONTON64 Thats a tough decision. Cooper loved Gunnar so much like a father. Gunnar was only doing what was best for the town. It was an excellent story all around. Can't decide. :)
I'm currently sick with a fever and listening to this as I faded in and out throughout the night created an interesting fever dream with myself as a character....with the right skills, which I'm sure I lack, this could almost be a twisted continuation for this amazing story. What an odd thing to enjoy such a dream...but with such a wonderfully written horror along with the Good Docs smooth narrations....anything is possible! ❤
Wow! Loved the story. The narration was spot on. Closed Captioned, great! Would love to see this made into a film. I've listened to a lot of scary stories on RUclips & most have parts that it's hard to hear....not this one, loved it. I hope that everyone will have a great day & be safe. :)
This telling was so much better than the other chap that attempted to being this story to life. As usual, you delivered as expect. Only a fantastic performance like this can cause the listeners to root for the cannibals. 🎩 Tip and gratitude for your efforts and professionalism.

Thank you very good said👍😁
Couldn’t agree more.Rooting for the cannibalism.I could really picture picture this story. That is due to the doc,s narrating 🤝
I'd love to see this made into a movie.
Oh definitely. It self like I was watching a movie while listening
It is a movie . It is called Texas chainsaw massacre
Seriously, I was born there and traveled all over…. Texas Radio and the Big Beat: we are stoned, immaculate…

What a wonderfully written and narrated story! Dear Author... you're amazing!

This was great. Left me with ideas to roll around with as I try to tire my mind asleep. Thanks to the doc and author.

This is by far the best story I have heard yet... thank you so much for doing these!

Gunnar Hanson! The man who played leatherface.

This was a good one, once again, thanks!
Oddly enough there's a town in Texas called Sunset and if this story involved meth heads it could've taken place there.
Another Texas town that gives me that same vibe is Goodnight. Ive driven through it a few times at night and its just kinda spooky lol
When ever I explain Texas to people I always say this “Mostly dirt and meth”

Cooper or Gunnar?
