- While this is one of my favorite rc cars there is a issue with dirt build up in the gear case killing bearings and eventually the gears. Lets see if we can fix this

Well stuff happens. I keep a first aid kit fully stocked in my van and one in my shop. As far as stopping sand in a Arrma. GOOD LUCK 👍
Yup I might have to keep some band aids in the work shop lol. Its not as bad as the maxx slash as far as collecting dirt but its the gear box that bothers me that was a bad idea with that design

I have the same issue with mine, even after putting tape over the chassis! I think a gasket would work much better than just closing off the little slots! Great video once again! Keep them coming!
Thank you very much for the support. Unfortunately tape alone doesn't work like you said a gasket would help the whole gear box needs to be sealed or totally open like on other cars so dirt just floats away

Ryobi sells a hand blower with tremendous power thar you can take along with you when ripping and clean it on the fly. Sold at Home Depot in the area where they sell the air compressors. I think it is $40.
I have a Dewalt if I wanted to go that route I like this light and handy fits in my tool bag its good for precision stuff like getting dirt out of a esc fan and I use my compressor when I get home for a thorough cleaning. Appreciate the tip thanks for watching
The Ryobi is actually aboout the same size and actually comes with attachments that allow you to get directly into the esc and get every bit of debris out. The 4s Maxx is an excellent vechile in terms of a well protected chasis.
