Sharkboy's dad calls him "Sharkboy" before transforming into a shark, meaning his parents decided to name him "Sharkboy" for no apparrent reason and he just happened to become a shark. You should watch Microwave Society's video on this movie by the way, it's really good.
There’s actually a follow up to this released two years ago called We Can Be Heroes. It’s not exactly a sequel but one of the characters is Sharkboy and Lavagirl’s daughter, I heard they’re making a sequel to that as well.
3:50 I loved those movies back when I was a wee lad. The 1st was the best one. 9:14 Prove it 16:22 Bridge To Terabithia. Good movie. Recommend 18:03 An actual book. There's even an audio narration by Samuel L Jackson
Ok....I didnt realize how many awkward close ups this movie has of taylor dooley's face. I feel like half of the filming she was just uncomfortably smiling and making direct eye contact with a camera lens while everyone watches
Nostalgia Critic is gonna do a month dedicated to the Dark Knight trilogy starting this Wednesday. May I recommend reacting to his reviews of the 90s Batman movie. They comprise of, Old vs New Batman vs Dark Knight Batman Returns Batman Forever & Batman & Robin Just to note each of these reviews weren’t made in chronological order. For intense, the Old vs New came out around his IT mini-series review, and Batman & Robin is in fact his earliest video. Still, I believe you might get kicks from them.
I missed out on halo when I grew up, consoles, social media. What I considered normal was watching 60s era tv shows with my dad. Classics imo. Had this movie when I was younger, hasn't aged well, still funny bad though. Another review by NC is Lost In Space, could be worth watching for a laugh.
29:43 people actually think you were born in a test tube. Omg. Don’t people realize that some people born in late 90s, to early 20s might not be exposed to early 90s and 80s stuff.
19:00 you wear your watch on the opposite of your dominant hand. The idea is to not scratch and scuff it, that's why most people wear it on the left (because most people are right handed) Edit: Oh, you said that. Shows how much I pay attention.
The Wizard of Oz is such a good film. I wish it did the other books. Come to think of it the movie was only half of the first book. Also in case you’re wondering, Oz is real and Dorothy moves there with her family.
"Is that what's his face from Twilight? Or Freddy from iCarly?" ...I never realized how similar those two look until I heard you say that, holy shit...
I appreciate you referencing the "Kill your family channel" from Yugioh Abridged. Also, really? I've not paid attention, but is this really the most viewed video? That's...surprising. Not a bad thing, just surprising. I think you still had a normal childhood, just a more active one by comparison. I don't know what you did for recreation, but watching TV and movies is likely just not it. At the very least, not to the same extent of most of our generation.
I've recommended this multiple times before you started watching the commercial specials, but you should watch The Critic's Nicolas Cage month. It's nothing short of incredible. My personal favorites are Face/Off and The Wicker Man. Definitely worth a watch.
I watched "Sharkboy and Lavagirl" in Cinema, it was ok but also disappointing. From title I was expecting an actual superhero movie, instead i got drug trip.
I remember when I was a kid I couldn't properly watch 3D movies with the red and blue glasses because of my astigmatism or something XD They really wouldn't work. I remember watching this movie and having trouble with it lol
You said you've never read the _Twilight_ books nor have seen the movies. Good. Don't. You're better off watching the reviews of them by KrimsonRogue (though, he's only covered the first 3 so far) or watching Cinema Therapy's videos on them. Because they both pretty much tell you in different ways not only how atrocious they are in terms of entertainment, but how toxic and nonsensical the messaging and relationships are.
No but it’s in the same universe. Sharkboy and Lavagirl appear in it and their daughter is part of the main cast but it’s more of a spinoff with its own sequel planned.
Clearly, he comes from the Ñßãæīßæ Galaxy. They just got RUclips. Duck, Let my brother know that it can come home, the parents are done eating the younger offspring, it is safe to return to our Squadron. Thanks "Duck" 🙃
I highly recommend watching some of Jon Trons videos, he has some very hilarious videos that I definitely think you’ll enjoy. My personal favorites of his are his videos on Kid Nation and the FlexTape saga.
The qoute is a book strategy many books start with a woute that is the premis of the book this 8s same for this film everything begins with a dream is the premis of the film and like said books it woutes a made uo character exsolaining the oremis
I have to throw another request for Nostalgia Critics Scooby Doo Movie review ruclips.net/video/5qcB3TmFA8U/видео.html This is a good review that doesn't require having watched the movie to enjoy and the movie isn't something you are likely to watch on your future movie review channel.
Day 342 of asking for game theorists fnaf As another follow up. While I've yet to see The Batman, i think the original Tim Burton 1989 and 1992 films are still worth watching. Consider adding Them to you you movie watch list incase you ever decide to make that movie reaction channel
I'd really like you to react to Nostalgia Critics Top 11 Mindfucks I'll link it here ruclips.net/video/PUGMTj4uOfc/видео.html. It's a reupload, the original is 2009.
I am in fact at the gym right now doing my ab workout 😂
You should watch the nostalgia critic review of toonami
Just need to stunt on Twilight and have better abs my friend. 😂
18:05 - "Go the F**k to Sleep" is a real book, and there's actually a reading of it on RUclips... by Samuel L. Jackson. Not even kidding.
and its glorious
Oh of course he read it of all people
and Casandra Lee Morris the voice of Morgana from Persona 5 Royal
Sharkboy's dad calls him "Sharkboy" before transforming into a shark, meaning his parents decided to name him "Sharkboy" for no apparrent reason and he just happened to become a shark.
You should watch Microwave Society's video on this movie by the way, it's really good.
Or it was a nickname since he fed the sharks
There’s actually a follow up to this released two years ago called We Can Be Heroes. It’s not exactly a sequel but one of the characters is Sharkboy and Lavagirl’s daughter, I heard they’re making a sequel to that as well.
So it’s a trilogy now??
@@theduckgoesmoo Not yet but I guess you can call it that? We Can Be Heroes is more of its own thing though.
completely forgot that that was a thing. even the few people i know who saw it didn't like it
If Max had cancer the plot would make way more sense... hes hallucinating.
27:24 this was the original Snowgrave route (that's a Deltarune reference)
3:50 I loved those movies back when I was a wee lad. The 1st was the best one.
9:14 Prove it
16:22 Bridge To Terabithia. Good movie. Recommend
18:03 An actual book. There's even an audio narration by Samuel L Jackson
I agree prove it
You don’t believe me??
@@theduckgoesmoo Thou Hast made the claim. Thou must prove it.
man nostalgia really does carry this movie
10:00 and then 10 years later Max learned he was trans
This is a joke btw about the gendered goggles thing
Ok....I didnt realize how many awkward close ups this movie has of taylor dooley's face. I feel like half of the filming she was just uncomfortably smiling and making direct eye contact with a camera lens while everyone watches
29:03 - His dad was the butler for the "joke on a silver platter" bit. :P
Ooooh

Every May (for the last two years) Nostalgia Critic revews a season of Batman TAS from the 90s
Nostalgia is the reason why it's his most viewed video. It's not a great movie, but it's perfect for those who grew up with it
5:28 - Ok
I recommend
"Sharknado - Nostalgia Critic"
For next week
Hmmm
29:43 people actually think you were born in a test tube. Omg. Don’t people realize that some people born in late 90s, to early 20s might not be exposed to early 90s and 80s stuff.
Nostalgia Critic - Son of Mask
The movie is almost as bad as Food Fight, and it may scar you for life.
19:00 you wear your watch on the opposite of your dominant hand. The idea is to not scratch and scuff it, that's why most people wear it on the left (because most people are right handed)

Im getting “my name could’ve been turbo!?!?!” Vibes from this 2:00
It’s cool that we’re the same age and to know your perspective on thing we both grow up on.
Ayyy
@@theduckgoesmoo I don’t know what ayyy means but I’ll take it as a complement
William Wallace was a Scottish knight and leader from the First War of Scottish Independence. He’s portrayed by Mel Gibson in the film Braveheart
I highly recommend Microwave Society, they also do movie reviews and they're highly entertaining.
"Is that what's his face from Twilight? Or Freddy from iCarly?"

6:06 actually blue

If you look at the clouds in the background they look like sharks
9:40 - The NC actually Made a Live-NC-Episode about the last Twilight movie
I appreciate you referencing the "Kill your family channel" from Yugioh Abridged. Also, really? I've not paid attention, but is this really the most viewed video? That's...surprising. Not a bad thing, just surprising.
I think you still had a normal childhood, just a more active one by comparison. I don't know what you did for recreation, but watching TV and movies is likely just not it. At the very least, not to the same extent of most of our generation.
I watched a lot of TV just the same few shows and played the same few videos games.
Did you notice it was 3D?
You should definitely watch his Alvin & the Chipmunks reviews
I remember when I was a kid I couldn't properly watch 3D movies with the red and blue glasses because of my astigmatism or something XD They really wouldn't work. I remember watching this movie and having trouble with it lol
4:29 - Dont remind the People.
All the Actors want to get away from there Rolls In twiligth
14:30 Is that the Bite of '87!?
"Go the fuck to Sleep" hey that's a real bed time story audio by Samuel L. Jackson himself. 😁
What a trippy movie.
1:50 - WE GET IT ! YOU ARE AMERICAN!
have a nice day and stay healthy!
Loved this film when I was little.
Boy does it not hold up.
That kid at 7:55 has the same vibe as the meme with the guy saying "she said she was 12". If u don't know the meme, best not to ask...
I don’t know it…
@@theduckgoesmoo Yikes, well then this is awkward...
You need to look at some of NC’s musical reviews. Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Moulin Rouge.
Yes may I searched what movie called in video
Yes ruclips.net/video/3w19SAl1OBQ/видео.html
28:37 - Its budget was 50 million. I've seen far better movies produced for far less money.
Especially ones made by Rodriguez
That is absurd
9:14 OF when? 🤣
Day 11 of asking you to react to Super Eyepatch Wolf's"No dad, wrestling is for grown ups!! I-WHY WON'T YOU LOOK AT ME-"trilogy.

Not gonna lie, the brain fart scene was kind of funny in my opinion.
Sharknado is another fun review by NC
I still enjoy this movie. It has that so bad it’s good quality to it.
There Plug Hounds
12:58 No its a Stupid gimmick and everyone knows
I've seen Shark boy and Lava girl too Lava girl is my favorite
Apparently this movie got a sequel on Netflix
No but it’s in the same universe. Sharkboy and Lavagirl appear in it and their daughter is part of the main cast but it’s more of a spinoff with its own sequel planned.
Maybe check out his worst video The Wall. Back when you could see dislikes it was about 3 to 4 times higher than likes.
God that review is so awful. He called goodbye blue sky Oscar bait

You definitely have to watch how to train your dragon.
You NEED to watch his video on Son of the Mask (a family picture)
Duck! You gotta watch NC's review of Son of the Mask! It's by far the WORST movie Critic has ever reviewed!
And he should react to the dumpster fire of doug walker: The Wall
Hi Kyle
Howdy Terry
You should react to doug's review of pink floyd the wall since it is regarded as THE WORST movie review ever
Never watch the Twilight movies.
