This was exceptional! Thank you for taking us to a place most of us may never visit. The summit was almost "other-worldly". So, so magical ... and it is obvious that you had a grand time. It's heart-warming to see such an appreciation of Nature. Your followers are very blessed by you sharing what you (and we) love. Hope you are doing well. All the best.
Great to look at but feck going in the back of one. They're noisy, uncomfortable and seemingly designed to shake your filings out. Give me a Chinook any day!
I went there (Keswick) yday for the first time. I remember my reaction to Brencathra as we passed it on the bus from Penrith. I couldn't take my eyes off it; its sheer height and breadth was magnificent.
The lakes , like the Highlands, where I live, do get their fair share of rain, but when the sun's out its the best scenery in the country . 👌 It's great to be out and about again, enjoy your videos very much .
Thanks for that James. Ive been on RUclips for 18 months now and the total ad revenue isn’t even enough to buy me a new Go Pro. Ive spent way more on equipment to make these films than I’ve earned from RUclips. I really don’t think some people have a clue about this.
@@TheSoloSummiteer I can believe that. It's fun to think that your growing following could contribute to your hobby one day...and maybe your new hobby of E-mountain biking! 🤣
Utube just recommended your video to me , great bivvy camp. Also your red tarn camp too , just reminds me of how much I'm missing the lake district. Need to be back early next year, I'm in North Essex. But just 5 miles from Constable country in Suffolk.
Superb video, thank you. Absolutely stunning views, the sun set and sun rise were glorious ⛅ Good one re the plane and electric mountain bikes. Looks like a beautiful part of the world 😊
Really appreciating your channel, Dave. Nicely put together and very relaxing to watch. I like how you take the time to identify the various peaks and tarns in the background for your viewers.
I've done that Browncove route many a time....including in the snow - which was pretty hair-raising! Amazing spot for a bivvy and so nice to see it without loads of other people. I'd just watched your snowy swirral edge descent video so the contrast couldn't be greater!
You experience some cracking sunrise's and sunsets Dave,I take my hat off to you doing that adventure after work, always look forward your adventures Dave stay safe Jim
Wow, what a stunning film !! Can't believe you had that to yourself, really enjoyed watching it, and will definitely watch it over and over. Thanks for taking the trouble to film it, edit it and post it so we can all enjoy it too.
The weather Gods were definitely in your favour, Loved the sunrise and sun set. Biving gives you more freedom when it comes to camping. Awesome video Dave
Wowzer Dave, Mountainfantastic M8. Fandabbydozy and superlicious there me ol'Darwen shiner. Loved it. Up there this Monday (hopefully) with Boyzone, i.e. the lads from work. ATB and keep 'em coming Dave. Mick😀🙏
Excellent Bivi on "Sunrise Mountain" Dave . They call it Sunrise Mountain because apparently more people watch the sunrise from Helvellyn than any other mountain in the Lake District . It is a fair schlep back through the trees to the car Dave too . All in all though , another great overnighter in the 5 billion star hotel . Nice 1 .
Been all over the lakes, I've not wild camped but I bet the langdales, more specifically Pavey Ark would be an amazing place to wild camp. That summit offers some amazing views of the lakes. Waking up to that view off Pavey Ark would be incredible
Great video, Dave. I climbed Scafell with my brother on Saturday 29th and was certain I saw you but I was thrown off by the fact you appeared to have company and thought I was mistaken!
What a video, great work buddy... Night sky pics were caught perfectly. With that frost on your bivvy I bet that was cold getting out the bivvy bag 😜 thanks for sharing. Stay safe ATB Dave 🤙
Another cracking video! Working my way through them, I call them Davewrights lol, nearly done them all! Love the videos, heading up Helvellyn in the morning on the ebike.
Once again a great video, your camera work gets better each trip. Having watched this video I’ve realised how much I’ve missed the Lakes and have just booked a week in December 😀
Thanks for taking me up there as I've always wanted to do the peaks in the Lakes. Never conquered my fear of heights but you've inspired me to get help.
i was up the other week when you was and what lovely warm weather with the odd patch of snow, then wednesday this week i hiked up White side and Raise in full winter gear to ski down, crazy!!
Wow loved the video, breathtaking something about being solo in the vast natural environment just feels right to me and it really came across in this video
Well i was going to say Dave you're an absolute nutter lol! maybe 10 years ago i would have been up for that but like you said it does test your character and that definitely was a test lol. But when you showed us that morning sky the red strip against the blue, wow! and all them views, there nothing crazy about it at all. Started off sounding like a disaster movie on everest to something that touches the very soul of us, hours of madness for a moment of beauty, worth it all day long. And i cant believe you didnt use the drone yet still amazing footage. And lastly that tent looked bloomin solid in the wind. Awesome stuff Dave 👊

fab video, just found your channel, subscribed ,excellent, and to have it to your self after all the people that have gone to the lakes after lockdown, you were so lucky.great video
Great video, my third time watching one of your videos, here's to many more. Those military aircraft were USAF CV-22 Ospreys, they can fly like a plane or helicopter, using the tilt rotor. Happy 2022 to you Dave.
Great video. Looks like you had the perfect night, weather wise. I went up that route on Easter Saturday. We got up there early and it was relatively quite. Plenty going up as we were going down. 'Hope you've enjoyed it?' Absolutely inspiring! Loved every minute watching!

I just wonder what people r watching if they’re not watching this stunning hike
The aeroplanes you saw will be Ospreys. Fantastic bits of kit, and eerily quiet for their size!
Great to look at but feck going in the back of one.
