That hood added to McFlurry might actually "backfire" on those who complained about you not having a hood. Due to the aerodynamic properties with the factory hood it smoothes the air traveling up and over the car.

That hole in the hood is a safety feature. When the latch fails at 180 mph an the hood wraps over the top of the car , you can still see where your going. 🤣🤣🤣

McFlurry's hood is money👍. Will be interesting to see progress on Mullet. No small task switching over to the SMX. If you get Mullet done you guys are incredible, if not it was a valiant effort...look forward to the update.

Would still like to see that hood tested at trap speed, somehow I think it will be OK at full power, there won't be any air getting away from the twins, but on over run the leading edge might catch some wind.
Unless the whole intake area becomes low pressure due to that steep front leading edge.

@@robo1210 It allows you to fit so much more in the engine bay. In some states that would be street legal, in most it will not. If the car enters a class that will require the car to be legal, then it gives the few that can hack up their car an unfair advantage. On top of that, I think they simply wanted to level the playing field a bit which is understandable.

@@iamBazzy Autonomous driving will not be a requirement for a long, long time anywhere in the world. What you guys will get is GPF requirements in a short while and you will also get federalized emission restrictions at some point I'm sure. I believe GPF gets mandatory for new cars from 2025. Can I also point out that the US have some legal requirements on new cars not found anywhere else, such as ADAS. The US is the only place in the world where new cars are required to have ADAS.
