- Everybody enjoys playing this game in their own way, and my way is finding fun ideas like this to show people there's more to this game than just spamming a mutant, HK or MDR every raid, don't get me wrong, that is extremely fun too.. but when was the last time you can recall getting shot 150 meters away with a P90? In this video I face the trials and tribulations of figuring out how to snipe at range with the P90.

That M700 reminded me, there are some weapon sounds in the game that are really rather good. M700, Mk-18 Mjolnir and the .45ACP Vector.

SS190 + Elcan p90 is one my of favourite budget weapons to run.
You'd be surprised how much of a punch that thing can do and how accurate those rounds are with a 4x.

You see, like in the real world, you've taken something you could call a SMG, used a rifle bullet, a short rifle barrel, and equipped a sufficient optic, and miraculously ended up with a decent long-range tool.

Yeah zeroing to a 100 is a thing, you should always do it, somone did the math and you will hit better at mid to long range and short range wont be really affected by this

Zeroing is based on the default round for each gun, its not adjusted for whatever round you put in it. Thats why zeroing exactly with ss190 was a bad idea
Interesting, im a big noob with that stuff, I usually ignore stats and just go by feel
Also, 715m/S second on a light bullet like the 5.7 is not the same as 715m/s on a heavy bullet like 7.62x39…. The latter will slow down over a longer distance. Then there would be ballistic coeficient too…
@@dunbar555 Dont talk about ballistic coefficients if you dont know what they mean lol saying 'Then there would be ballistic coeficient too…' doesnt make sense in english. The ballistic coefficients of both rounds would be different and have different effects, which only further proves my point.
@@baconater3824 this is exactly my fucking point for fuck sake. Each bullet employed in each of these calibers would have a different ballistic coefficient that are not specified in the game so it is impossible to predict the drop of any bullet.
But for sure an heavier bullet will slow down at a lower rate if shot at the same speed, assuming they have the same BC
@@dunbar555 Did you forget the part where guns are zeroed for their default round? For that round zeroing is 100% accurate. Also, as ballistic coefficients progressively get higher in a logical pattern you can easily predict them and their resulting trajectories, (ex. M80 is .393 whereas M61 is around .43). Predicting drop is very easy, dont try to make it seem hard. You dont even need to understand how bcs work, the faster the round in the same caliber the lower the drop rate for high pen rounds. If you cant figure out drop in tarkov its purely a skill issue.

Barrel length makes the biggest difference (as it does in real life) even if bullet characteristics are similar to bigger rounds

Zeroing to 50m is only works mostly on Factory imo, on most maps zeroing to 100 or more is the better move, at least its how it works for me
been doing this with the mp9 and a scope, this is the better version imo but more expensive - nice video!

Faster bullets have a more flat trajectory and thus benefit from a longer zeroing so you're not shooting over your target. You can tell this is the case when you zero up once, and the reticle goes down, and then zero up again again, and it goes up. You know you're shooting below the bullet arc.

P90 is my favorite gun somehow. Cheap, No need for a huge amount of Accessoires, ammo is decent and buyable from Peacekeeper, neither the P90 itself. What should i say, i even smacked the Trio in customs with the P90. Took me 15 minutes to reload Magazines Afterwards, but still worth. 10/10
