Please tell me why there is an American turboprop on the French plane? This engine is installed on all aircraft of this type. Nobody else in the world produces this type of engine?
@@JasonFlies Thanks for your reply and information. But I wondered why the French did not design and install their engine on the Socata, instead they install non-French engines. After all, France is one of the leading air forces.
Great video again! If you don't mind I have an odd technical question: On the Audio panel, when you press the MKR MUTE button does the white light above it turn ON and the marker audio is muted, or is it the other way around?
From the NXi manual: "During marker beacon audio reception, pressing the MKR/MUTE Key mutes the audio but does not affect the marker annunciations. The marker tone is silenced, then waits for the next marker tone. The MKR/MUTE Key Annunciator is illuminated, indicating audio muting. The audio returns when the next marker beacon signal is received. If the MKR/MUTE Key is pressed during signal reception (O, M, I indication) while marker beacon audio is muted, the audio is deselected and the MKR/MUTE Key Annunciator is extinguished."
@@JasonFlies Thanks for taking the time to answer my question! Unfortunately I only have an X-Plane version of the TBM 900! I have built the instrument panel and was not sure about this button. Please keep up sharing those videos with us, and have a great day!

That's a Canadian PT6 engine, well known for reliability - super popular and used in many aircraft.
