    How pretty with painted cottages and winding roads round a lovely little protected port. Like Brittany was before it was over run. Obviously warm enough for T-shirt and shorts from this! And fresh North Sea fish ans seafood. Love the colour of ripples in the water. Thanks. A definite visit to come!

    My fav childhood memories there. Used to spend 3 weeks every school summer holidays there with my grandparents. I bet that harbour wall could tell a few good stories if it could talk 💙

    Ahh.. St Monans, I grew up in that town, well between St Monans and Pittenweem, I left in 1982 have not been back since..

    Saint Monaaaance? I grew up here, its pronounced "Sunt Moan-ans"

    I agree - wheely bins often detract from the scene as well in many of these small villages - but I suppose we would probably have to do the same if we lived there

    I reckno they should build a secure carpark outside the village. The village is so idyllic except for the modern cars destroying the scene. I used to get confused between St.Monans in Fife and St.Modans in Stirling.
