I really like these videos. I'm a proper nerd 😁 I'm 58 now and have kept tropical tanks since I was 12. I'm currently scaping a 375 litre tank. I reckon on £2k for larger well planted tanks with top filters and lighting. Fish are extra. Keep going with these 👍

I agree with not trying to change water parameters, most fish now are bred in harder water. You make is so complicated if you don't keep up the regime. 🙂 👌
How about a discussion about local found wood and how to prepare it for an aquascape? That would be which woods are all right and what to look for. For the US it is suggested: cherry, apple, hawthorne, oak, alder, and sycamore.

Can you please do small review of the aquarium stands? Over here we can't buy these and I want to see how the front doors are done, and if the front of the tank is supported on the doors in any way

Thanks for posting, wonderful. I’m a bit paranoid about power board, which often are quite cheaply built, being on the floor when there’s lots of water about. All my power cables run up from the tank before running down to the mains plug, all power boards off the floor. I have RCD fitted in my main distribution board, but like I said, I paranoid about electricity and water
Well that was great , thanks for showing us, I’ve learnt a lot just by looking round the room ..Sadly I suffer from motion sickness and I do appreciate tripod shots for there steadiness, it’s a shame steady cams are so expensive.. but thanks once again a nice studio or fish room .

What kind of glue do u use?
Isn’t using filter wool to retain the soil going against the spirit of Takakashi Amano?
Also super glue - but I think that's ok. We don't have to do everything the exact way Mr. Amano did. I can appreciate how the aquascaping community has many differing points of view, yet we are all trying to create a beautiful piece of nature. I've noticed that Mr. Amano perhaps didn't follow ALL his own rules. For instance, he said that aquascapes are at their best when they can fool the fish into believing they are at home. However, he seemed to have no qualms about putting a school of several hundred neons (or cardinals, can't remember) in an Iwagumi scape. They certainly didn't feel like they were in their Amazon home, yet he felt the scape was up to his standards. When we feel the freedom to adapt Mr. Amano's methods, rather than slavishly following them, perhaps this is how aquascaping will be made available to new generations of hobbyists and artists. Cheers!
I love watching aquascapes. I do have an aquarium with a tetra but so plain. 😟😟😭 Having a good a aquascape needs a lot of budget.

You know what would be cool? To have a live aquascaping where you bring the material but then have the live viewers tell you what to do, by voting live! An aquascape built by the community.
You know what would happen? Overnight session with many angry people because their idea was not accepted :-)

I think you should consider that young kids may be watching your videos. Do you really want them to hear foul language coming out of you? Keep in mind you might be losing viewers due to one unnecessary word. Always worthwhile to sound professional.
