    We took this tour based on your video and great experience. I can say that this was FANTASTIC! I would 100% recommend this day trip to Sayulita. Every single thing was top-notch. Jose Antonio along with his assistant, Yahir, provided the best service anyone could expect. I really cannot say enough good things about this entire excursion. The secluded beach was truly special and just incredible. The food that they prepared was delicious and Sayulita is just the greatest, little surfer town. Thank you for your fantastic videos, Aly!

    It is amazing how this place has blown up over the last 15 years. I remember when there were a handful of local stores and Don Pablo's. The beaches were completely empty except for a handful of local swimmers and surfers.

    Aly - Thank you so much for your videos on Puerto Vallarta. We booked with Tony 10 minutes after watching this video and it was a GREAT day trip. He is as good a cook as he is a guide. Just got back home and want to go back and try the hot springs trip. I cant agree with you more about spending a couple of days in Vallarta and then going on a day trip somewhere.

      All of your info about Puerto Vallarta was spot on, from the ATM's, the airport taxi's, and having pesos when we get there. We would actually laugh when things happened because it was EXACTLY as you said it would. Thank You! @@alysmalls

    Sounds like an incredible day trip from Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita! The combination of visiting markets, exploring Sayulita, and enjoying a BBQ lunch on a secluded beach sounds like the perfect itinerary. The details provided about the duration, small group size, and affordable cost make it even more appealing for anyone considering this trip. I'm looking forward to watching the video and learning more about your experience!

    This is a lovely and beautifully made video but I didn't recognize anything that you showed, other than the headland at the south end of the town. Perhaps the reason is that the last time I visited Sayulita was 50 years ago. The "road" from the highway to the village forded a stream five times. The stream is where the women in the town did their laundry. There were no hotels, one tiny abarrote (grocery store) located in the owners house, and one "restaurant" near the beach that occasionally cooked something. Camping in a coconut grove was 10 pesos per night, with a roofless and doorless outhouse. The village itself extended about a half km north from the headland, and beyond that there was nothing but empty shoreline until the area near Rincon de Guayabitos. The majority of the houses had thatch roofs. With the possible exception of two or three houses on the headland every structure in Sayulita is new. The road to Punta Mita was a muddy track through the jungle, and Punta Mita was a barren coast line, bereft of a single building and inhabited by about a dozen nude hippies. It was perfect, and I loved it.

    The price for the hot spring is over $200 cad per person now with the link In the bio. The beach trip is $188 per person. We’re these the costs ? I saw you mention $100 usd.

    • @alysmalls
      @alysmalls  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, prices have increased, just like everywhere else. We took the hot springs tour 2 years ago, and this Sayulita tour 1 year ago (when the video was posted).

    • @Wristwatchme
      @Wristwatchme 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@alysmallsah gotcha. Yes been travelling the last few years so definitely aware how inflation has affected areas all over the world. But these are 100% jumps you re speaking about, that’s Abit insane no? Now to visit the hot springs is a $450 CAD endeavour for 2 people…

    • @alysmalls
      @alysmalls  6 месяцев назад

      I don't disagree. I'm currently seeing $429 CAD for 2 people. So that's $215 per person . Here's how I think of it:
      You get transportation, coffee/snacks, fun market shopping, tortilla experience, couple hours at the hot springs, more snacks, a massive grilled lunch, one hour massage on the beach, and transportation back to your hotel.
      We spend several thousand dollars on a trip to PV (flights, accomms, food) - to me - a little over 200 bucks is worth it for a full day experience + food + massage.
      I think it comes down to budget and what you're looking to get out of your trip!
