It's such a joy to watch your joy. I so know how you feel. Just love how colourful and full your studio/cabin is. Such creative energy vibrating in there. I LOVE IT!!!!!!
When you started putting the paper bag collage on your paper, I honestly thought oh gosh what can she do with that…THEN you actually made a painting, which is held together with the allium flowers scattered so perfectly across the collage work! What creativity and good composition too. Brill!! The addition of the paper bag pot and especially the black pot, anchors the bits and pieces into a cohesive finished painting! Oh give a hug to Craig for that beautiful St. Ives frame which makes your pink chair work look so polished! That turned out great. So enjoyed this week’s episode in your painting life. The trip to Portugal was apparently just what you needed. You came home fueled and ready to do some good work!!❤ Go Gaynor!
You are such a bright light! I love watching your videos as your spirit is contagious. I love your light-hearted and happy approach to art! Thank you!!!
I just want to go and paint paper bags now Gaynor! I hope the exhibition goes well for you today and onwards! I liked seeing Rocket cheekily enter the cabin for a snoop. 😄 I like how Craig doesn't appreciate the limelight being on him! X
Awesome new idea for a painting with the alliums and paper bags. Bob Blast does a vlog on abstract collage, which is very interesting. He's full of joy and enthusiasm too. Might be worth checking his channel out. Good luck with your exhibition. Nice to see you taking it in your stride, this time. Hope we get to see a peek of what you display. Bye for now, Jo.😊
Hi Gaynor love your collage work so much fun. Also, I sure would love to see how your husband makes his frames they are amazing and show off your art work so elegantly. Have a great exhibition and see you next Thursday. All the best, Laurie

Best of luck with the exhibition! I have had a pastel painting in show this past month. I won an Honorable Mention and I SOLD it. What a fantastic feeling. That’s for all your help these last months. You’ve helped me in so many ways.❤️‼️👏🏻⭐️
Oh I love the alliums❤ so much gorgeous texture and subtle color. (and there's more) which means to me you have many more ideas that incorporate the brown paper bags ...hopefully more of those beautiful alliums while they are blooming in the garden. Pink chair is very dynamic and seems to capture your JOY. Yes, I agree there is such joy in painting.❤❤❤
Just wanted to thank you for sharing your process and little bits of your artist life.i really enjoy your style . I love watching while having my coffee in the morning,it’s such a nice way to start the day.
I couldn't even imagine where your large paper painting was going, and then, wow, there is was! I love it! I love the technique of using the paper bags, and using the bag with paint on it to make the flowers/trees on the painting! Then when you added the piece of bag on the bottom left, I didn't understand that, and then you painted the black pot. Its all just perfect. I also love the chair pictures! Hope it is all successful for you!
Yea, chia pudding w/ oatmeal and fruit ... & nuts/seeds. Soak, then rinse steel cut oaks before u cook ... makes a nice texture. Then, make a batch using plant based milk / coconut milk.... put in individual jars for the nx 5 days, easy breakfast. nice to C U add different colors this week. Made some paper beads...now on to making jewelry. Ann, Florida fan
So nice to see you back home and painting up a storm. The show will be fantastic - hope you enjoy great success. The new allium work is really marvelous. I like that you honoured the fragile, unique strength of these blooms. The composition is great, negative space so well balanced. I see a series sprouting.
Thank you for this joyous exploration and exhibition prep video. You so inspiring and encouraging. I’m just back from two very wet weeks in the UK and Ireland. So much water, so many beautiful gardens and amazing things to see. I didn’t sketch like I’d hoped to due to the rain but I still had a great time. Wish I could pop back over for your show. Wishing you and the other participants a good showing.
OH Gaynor- how lovely! I'm so inspired by the organic style of this work you are doing! Wow! I've been saving and using paper bags for collage for a long time but these larger pieces are wonderful!
It was such fun to watch you create the collage, and I love it as is. But of course, you must do with it as you see fit! The two chairs are so bright and cheery and the square looks very well too. You have so much talent for painting things to make people smile.
Thanks again Gaynor for an entertaining and inspiring video. Like others no doubt, I wondered what on earth you could possibly create with your paper bag collage, and then I saw that it was progressing very interestingly. Your message about playing and just exploring is a good reminder for me. Hope your exhibition is going very well. And finally, do try to get Craig to say a quick hello 😊 I suppose all your many followers are, like me, very intrigued by this helpmeet of yours, a man of many skills who turns out those wonderful frames for you. There are probably many of us who would be thrilled to have a Craig in our lives. Have a lovely week ❤
Hello Sheryl, Craig said at the outset of my RUclips adventure " I don't mind helping but NO filming" , so I respect his wish because I love his frames !!! We had a fantastic preview evening....the rain even stopped as we opened the door !! Have a lovely week too X
Hello Gaynor nice to see you back at breakfast time, a great way to start my day. HELLO CRAIG !! 👋😀 .......what a lot of colour to make me feel inspired. As we have a nice day here im going to get out on my deck and do something creative. Thank you, and wishing you luck for the forthcoming exhibition........Alioban ❤🐕
Best of luck on the exhibition! Gaynor, your work has a freedom to it that makes it a joy to watch your process. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and responses to the pieces as you journey through each one. ❤. Your hubby is a brilliant framer!
This is so interesting...today is Thursday, and I just stopped to eat dinner and while doing so found your video. I then have to go finish a painting for a show that I have to hang tomorrow. AND the painting has a vase shaped just like the black one you put in your painting, AND I have had construction going on outside my door for the past week or so, AND I just love your work. Those "psychedelics" are absolutely delicious! Your pink and green chairs look wonderful, and those alliums turned out really beautiful! I wish I was in England to come and see your show. I hope it is wonderful and successful (and that the construction is finished soon)!
What a treat to have a video to catch up on!!! Gaynor if you ever make prints of the painting on the wall behind you of the blue truck and flower fields I would love to buy one. 😮
Hello Samahra, I have just been given the details of a really good printer and I am thinking about producing one or two gigclee prints. I have a lot going on right now but will write myself a note !! Thank you for watching and leaving a lovely comment XX
Hi Gaynor and thanks for another great Art Weekly. I love the allium painting so full of energy. My eye kept being drawn to the mount hanging on the buldog clip and the patterns and colours accidently within it. Ayway here's wishing you and your fellow artists all the luck with your exhibition xx
