Hey, thanks a lot for this video. I am currently thinking about stepping up my still early career as a gaffer and investing in a CRMX system. Seeing your experience and workflow with Sidus One was really insightful.
I am not sure that I understand all the differences between the Sidus One and Four and many you do better. :)
Do I understand it right that with the Sidus One you can only use one "universe" at a time which means only CRMX and not Bluetooth (Sidus Link) at once? My issue with that would be that I have some Amaran fixtures (for example 300c) that unlike the F22c cannot be equipped with a CRMX adapter. Does that instantly mean I would need to use the much more expensive Sidus 4 in which case it makes more sense to sell all my not adaptable gear and buy CRMX equipped lights I guess?
It would be awesome if you could clear my mind and to hear your opinion on this. :)
Thank you so much in advance.

Hi, with Sidus One, you can use one DMX (CRMX) universe and a Bluetooth "universe" simultaneously.
Sidus 4 will be necessary if you have many devices connected via DMX/CRMX that don’t fit into a single DMX universe, meaning they occupy more than 512 addresses. This is usually needed on large sets where there are many devices to control, especially for pixel mapping or complex effects.

Hi, for the Amaran F series, we used a DMX connection because the fixtures were far from the Sidus One on set, and it was more reliable to connect them with cables.
We also needed to synchronize the Amaran fixtures with other CRMX devices when creating effects.

@@igorzhidkov1957 Yes, with Sidus Pro, Bluetooth devices have fewer features, but I noticed a significantly more stable connection, especially with older devices like the Aputure 60x.
When using Sidus Link, I had to reset the Bluetooth on the device several times a day because it would lose connection.
With Sidus Pro + Sidus One, this issue didn’t occur. We connected it once, and over the course of two weeks, there was no need to reconnect it even once.
