Great video! I’m painting a Victorian house model and this will be a big help. Also that drink sounds so amazing, will definitely have to try it!

I have a metal stand alone mailbox my coworker gave me. She bought a new one. The old one is cream colored metal that has lost paint in many areas. I want mine to look copper and aged in other areas. I bought the hammered copper paint and some green paint.
I have had a hard time finding orange mums, so when I bring home a mum that is actually yellow I spray paint it orange so it looks like I want it to.
This past summer I bought brown plastic holders for my garden hose, so after seeing your inspiration piece I’m going to paint them also.

Wow, Janet! You've been super busy with some great projects ❤ What you did with the mums....LOVE IT! If Mother Nature can't give you the color you want...Rust-Oleum will!

I like the idea but im not digging the way the light reflects off the dimples I really like the dry brush effec tand color choice on the outside frame. What would it look like with a laquer over the faux finish inside?

Hi Roberta! Loving your insight. I believe any type of sealant, including lacquer, would make it apoear richer. Since making this video I have leaned towards using metallic copper leaf to create a more impactful appearance.
Here's a link to a video of me working with metal leaf on furniture for the first time. It ain't graceful...but I learned a lot from my FB followers during the process ruclips.net/video/wU-jE0F_nlo/видео.html
      See 'ya later ❤

I must not have a good eye for color. Everyone seems to use teal to create verdigris, but verdigris always looks more green than blue to me. *sigh*

      Hi!! Teal is a tricky color...very subjective. It's not you 👍 ❤

This video is WAY TOO LONG....please edit out the 5000 shots of you drinking wine.

I agree, it is too long. The result is a combination of being new to making videos and stalling, waiting for Facebook algorithms to tell my followers I was live **sigh** Live and learn. Thanks for giving it a try, it means a lot 👍
And...it was ginger beer, not wine. I personally believe social media falls in the same category as operating heavy machinery....don't drink on social media! 🤣
