Did this for a client a few years ago, that paint is stunning even before the chemical is added. Client loved it, and their business space won a bunch of style awards afterwards.
another nice way of doing this effect is to soak a sponge and place it at the top of the wall and squeeze it so it runs down the wall. you could also use a syringe. stenciling both flat and raised can also look really good incorporated into the open spaces
I absolutely love this! This creates more of a realistic lived-in room than most of the clean cut suburban stuff the market is saturated with. Well done man!
Where can I find the patina metallic paint. I love the blue-green color. What’s the name of that. I also want to add a bronze patina. Do they come in different colors.. Much appreciated
Hello. I love LOVE this effect. May I ask if you would add gold leaf to this, how would you add that in? And is that green or a turquoise effect? I want to add that to my home as an accent wall and would love any advice you can give. Thank you
I have already applied two coats of Velspar copper metallic paint … first off I hate the color it’s almost pink, secondly, can I still patina this paint ??? I really need to rescue my bathroom ceiling !!!
@@wwdecorating1305 cheers i got some and used it in kitchen looks good found your video very helpful i thought it was going to take well more than 2 coats after the first was applied but second coat was enough cheers.
1. Wear eye protection and a cap. Spots of paint all around your eyes. Very foolish to not wear safety goggles. 2. This is UK. In the US, Modern Masters makes acrylic (latex) paint in every possible metallic hue including a reactive copper. The film studios use these extensively. Quite cheap from paint stores or online. Very good patina. They also have a Pharoah's gold yellow gold paint that is very nice. 3. Wall looks spectacular! Very well done. Thank you!
