      I have been a fan of AMD only because of the price-quality ratio in previous years, but at this moment if I wanted to upgrade the processor I would go for the best price. On the other hand, since I was able to buy NVdia GPUs, I think I would not buy AMD GPUs again due to different driver issues. I currently have ryzen 5 5600 + 3070 and I am more than happy 1080 240hz in competitive games and experimenting with unreal engin and blender without problems. very good videos SG

    Another great & informative video. I have a 7800x3d paired with 4070ti super, the CPU usage is usually very low which means I probably could’ve went cheaper on the CPU but I don’t mind knowing that I won’t have to upgrade the CPU even if I get a massive GPU upgrade sometime in the future

    Hey Shadow, what's your opinion on the r7 7700 (non x) vs i5 13600k?
    the 7700 is currently 60$ cheaper than the 13600k in my country and i honestly don't know what to choose

      depends on what you want to do with your system, if it's gaming, then the 7700

    Here you said that I need at least 1000 watts for power supply but when I asked you how much I need for the ryzen 7 7800x3d and the rtx 4080 super you said that it is fine 850 watts. But as always great video.

    Saying that you need a bigger cooler for the 13600k is frankly nonsense.

    • @ShadowGamingPC1
      @ShadowGamingPC1  Месяц назад

      it is not, I have a 13600k myself and a 7600, the 7600 can be cooled with the stock cooler easily, the 13600k can't, it does not even come with a cooler

    • @KiSs0fd3aTh
      @KiSs0fd3aTh Месяц назад

      @@ShadowGamingPC1 The fact that it doesn't come with a cooler doesn't mean it needs bigger cooling. I assume you are talking about games, right? A 5€ intel stock cooler can cool the 13600k in games. Try it if you have one.

    • @ShadowGamingPC1
      @ShadowGamingPC1  Месяц назад

      @@KiSs0fd3aTh I agree in the fact that it does not need to be a big cooler, but still, AMD already comes with one, which is an advantage anyway. I'm not defending AMD just because I want hahaha, I love intel CPUs as well, just not for price to performance gaming (and the 13600k consumes more power than the 7600 and is more expensive, for a very similar gaming performance)

    • @KiSs0fd3aTh
      @KiSs0fd3aTh Месяц назад +1

      @@ShadowGamingPC1 Well no matter what Intel does they will always be seen as worse than AMD. The 6700k / 7700k were the fastest gaming chips by far, they were considered trash because they lacked MT. Now that Intel offers great gaming and insane MT nobody cares about MT and they all focus on the mediocre 3d parts. Intel is doomed no matter what they can come up with.

    I disagree, the 14900K is faster than the 7800X3D in gaming! Just that for that to work the 14900K needs a nuclear reactor to function and an antarctica to keep cool...

    Intel all the way

  • @techluvin7691
    @techluvin7691 Месяц назад +3

    There is no decision. It’s AMD all the way. Intel is an oven that uses way too much power just to keep up to AMD! And that’s not to mention the 2 generations……….then you need a new motherboard with Intel. It’s not even close………not even a discussion.

    • @ShadowGamingPC1
      @ShadowGamingPC1  Месяц назад

      I agree except for the 12400f vs 5600 at the moment :)

    • @KiSs0fd3aTh
      @KiSs0fd3aTh Месяц назад +2

      That's not true though. To keep up to AMD? For example the 13600k is faster in gaming than the 7950x (and every other non 3d zen 4) while consuming less power. If you are talking about MT - most segments intel wins at ISO power simply cause they have more cores. EG lock a 7700x and a 13700k to the same power and run multithreaded workloads, the 13700k will wipe the floor with the 7700x while running cooler and more efficiently

    • @ShadowGamingPC1
      @ShadowGamingPC1  Месяц назад

      @@KiSs0fd3aTh You can't compare the 13600K with the 7950x, 2 different levels of CPUs, compare it with the Ryzen 5 7600 / Ryzen 7 7700 / 7700x. The 13700k is the same price as the 7800x3D, not 7700x. So compare those 2. I love intel for video editing and content creation in general, but for gaming, is not even a debate :) that is my opinion

    • @KiSs0fd3aTh
      @KiSs0fd3aTh Месяц назад +2

      @@ShadowGamingPC1 Well you just compared the 14700k to the 7800x 3d....the gap in MT performance between the 14700k / 7800x 3d is bigger than between the 13600k / 7950x btw.
