so happy to see Dan play wildfrost again! I would like to personally thank Dan for introducing me to Wildfrost. It is because of him making the Wildfrost video that i got to be in the game's credits and meet all the wonderful people in the community and the devs behind the game!
Fun fact: the game was made easier and most of it's previous difficulty was added to the frost bells at the start! Also you can press the transparent bell to the right to call the next wave early in case you have like a barrage unit or some sort of aoe that would let you get even bigger combos off (for the extra money)
Release Wildfrost was so hard I couldn't beat it again after winning once with Yuki and dropped it. Since then it seems to have had a lot of great updates and while the game is still hard, I don't feel like I gotta claw my way up like before. New cards like the zoomlins are a godsend now too.
@@HazeEmry my only problem right now is how brutal the ink fight is in particular cause like what do you mean you gave a unit with barrage ink a sun countdown of only 3!? and what do you mean the battle starts with 2 of them!?
I'm so glad RTGame considers Wildfrost to be one of his favorite card games because I also really enjoy Wildfrost and I was introduced to it by his early access video
The really broken one is salazzle, which combines overburn and shroom into one status that uses both mechanics (counts down dealing damage each turn, explodes at equal to or greater than current HP)
For both Wildfrost and rouge legacy 2, i had only ever seen your videos on the games. I wishlisted them on everything i could, and now i have over 80 hours in rouge legacy 2 and i have played 22 hours of Wildfrost after getting it a few weeks ago. The only reason that i ever played either of them is that i watched your videos, and i am very happy to see you back in one of the games that you turned into my favorites.
RT finally got to the point of "I got so lucky!! I can create the greatest monster this world has ever seen!!! but... do I want to create it?.... whatever I make I'll have to fight next run...."
If I’m being destroyed by all these Wildfrost bosses, I know that B.I.N.K and Electrode have got me when I need them the most and they summon the powers of Exodia and kill everything for 69 damage including the text box layer that RT forgot to remove from the original video *New Text Layer, my beloved.*
I love how everyone got sucked into Wildfrost just by watching Dan’s first video on it; I got sucked into it after watching it years after that video went up (even though I’ve been subscribed from since before then), and it’s definitely come a long way from when Dan first played it, most intriguingly being the rework of Ice Dice.

The art style difference is so funny since u see this nice artwork and then right next to it is a pokemon png taken from somewhere and slap it on the game

This was unexpected. I got into the game after watching you play and now I watch a guy play it daily, I've beat the hardest difficulty and I've been playing various mods for it. This should be fun.
Got the game day one because of your first video and it’s become one of my favourites ever since. Extremely happy to see another video, even if focusing on a mod and not the new content. (To be fair the mod itself is incredibly awesome and I love it too, there are so many cool mechanics fit into it)

All your crowned companions are free plays anyway, and having a fat deck makes it less likely to get the remaining ones first card draw so using a crown on the nest means less reliability to get everything else out quickly. It does make recalling cheaper but with a reasonably well balanced deck recalling is a rare need anyway

I'm usually someone who crowns basically all my companions anyway but it would have been a fun build, especially with the pokemon theming and treating it as swapping them out like in the games.

The fact that electrode basically plays exactly the same as it does in actual pokemon is hilarious. Super fast attacker/status spreader that either leaves or explodes when shit gets bad
Seeing Volcarona (my favorite pokemon) as one of the stars of the first build is really nice, and lots of love for your content overall, can't wait to see what you're up to next!

I love wildfrost, and I play it on my phone religiously because of RT’s original video! I was already considering buying it on steam to play with mods and this might push me over the edge to buy it. 😅
this game has a mechanic tied to the frost bells (the things that make the game harder) where if you find two specific items that appear useless they combine into one item that's probably what the microwave and fridge did if I had to guess, I haven't played much of the mod tho

yeah release wildfrost was so much harder, but honestly i kinda liked it that way. I just play with max storm bells now

@@MetronaJ snow them, and have only 1 unit be in a row at a time so barrage only hits 1 unit at a time. And recall to clear ink if necessary

I thought the magnemite charm was more broken but it applies one of those at random which makes sense.

Rogue Legacy 2 is much better. If you've been on the fence, you should definitely buy it. It's a straight improvement across the board
