It has been an incredible season full of ups and downs, and to know that we always get this one game of old school smash mouth football the top it all off..... It truly is one of college football's greatest traditions.

If this is all someone has their life to hang on, they're not doing it right. Especially as a future Naval officer. Shit happens. This is a football game. It's like football is more important to most of those Naval officers that constantly failed us enlisted folks with their holier than thou, chin turned up attitudes as they sat in air conditioning buildings on base dictating "safety" rules to have our guns unloaded and beyond arms reach while traveling in a combat zone getting shot at nearly everyday and having IEDs or mines blow up on us occasionally. Or Army officers initiating fights unnecessarily with enlisted Navy folk or leading convoys where their soldiers throw candy out to little kids only to intentionally hit them at 40mph. Grown the fuck up. Hold yourself accountable. Be better. They say shit like, "If you're wrong, stay wrong" and "don't think for yourself." Never listen to most so-called superiors. They will only get you killed with their traditional, sentimental bullshit and deadly pride. These men are weak and will not hesitate to kill even their own countrymen if their superiors order them to. Pathetic.

Totally agree! This is the ONLY college football game (outside my own alma mater) that I watch from start to finish every year. The game itself is non-partisan for me, because of my respect for the military academies -- but, I AM an Army vet's daughter, so I was smiling a little broader at this year's finish! 😁
Space Force will never have a team just like the Marine Corps doesn’t have a team. There are only 3 service academies. Space Force falls under Air Force.

this IS their bowl game, same as it is every year, for both Army and Navy. and its bigger than any bowl game these men could play in. their peer's are at the stadium and the men and women they intend to serve with make up 3/4 of our military (branch wise anyway) as well as us Veterans are all around the world watching tis game every year, regardless of either team's record. by the way im assuming you are a Troy fan,(clearly, so im safe) your team has had a great season this year, and should get a decent bowl game. good for them!

The craziest end I have EVER seen to an Army/Navy game. I have no skin in the game... but man it was awesome. And, as usual, got all misty when they were singing the academy alma maters.
My dad played defensive back for army back in the 80’s when they won 2 commanders in chief trophies and played against alabama in the sun bowl. In the 17 years that ive been alive, I have never not watched army play navy with my dad, and i will never stop. Sometimes I can see my dad start to tear up when the cadets sing the alma mater. While I believe this to be the greatest game in all of college football, its so much more than that. Beat Navy.

Good game, but it sadly highlights the problem I have with college OT structure. Starting at the 25 almost guarantees a field goal. I personally believe it should be backed up to the 45. Make the offense have to do something instead of positioning for the kick. That poor navy kid will be haunted by that play for a while.

This reminds me of my local high school’s varsity team. They always ran the triple option, and it was a HUGE deal whenever they completed a pass.

Army has been victorious in 5 out of the last 7 games. Prior to that, Navy was dominant, winning 14 of 15.

I really liked the Army uniforms for this game. Fatigue green and yellow really suits them. The Navy uniforms were iffy at best.
