    Good video thanks. Anchoring is key assuming you have already coordinated your vocal chords. Many non singers cant connect so they anchor and end up pushing. I did. Also, bel canto teaches if you don't let some sound come out of your nose you have only inferior mouth resonance. You need both for ring.

    Great thing, it works, but ich also use the tension of the shoulder blades to connect with the tension of the oral cavity.

    Good advice- but the siren shouldn’t be that loud- and it shouldn’t be sung on stiff folds with so much breath. Better to use Resting Expiratory Level as an intervention, breathe out first and use less breath. Also add a wimper to the siren to get the false vocal folds retracted, and access the thin folds. Siren needs to be done on thin folds for best results. #estillvoicemethod

      Absolutely agreed guys. Siren should be done on a thin fold which this is! 😀The point I'm showing here is what can change when you bring anchoring to the mix. 👍

    Hey Sarah. This is Brendan. As I am vision impaired, I was following your descriptions which I found to be great. However, Would you please be able to describe to me the exercise performed at the gym to engage in the back muscles for torso anchoring? Is it the latt pulldown where you pull the bar down to your chest and then bring it back up so your arms are straight?

      Found it online, flaring your nostrils. No idea how to do that though....

    The technique advice is correct, but your voice doesnt change. Too much support from your throat, that you want and should be less.
