Fender Mustang LT25 Amplifier Review - Presets 1 Through 15
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 1 июн 2019
- Here are examples of the presets that come programmed into the Fender Mustang LT25 guitar amplifier. Part 2 is here: • Fender Mustang LT25 Am... - Part 3 is here: • Fender Mustang LT25 Am... - I also share my thoughts about the quality of the sounds and possibilities for their usage. This video covers presets 1 through 15 - there are 50 total presets. Some of the sounds seem a little over-compressed. Others are equalized very bright on the high end. All of this can be adjusted to your taste.

this guys accent make this even better to watch
Sounds New England country...lol...
Great post!!!
Sounds like GA or SC to me!
This is super helpful for me. Thanks for posting. I've had maybe 15 acoustics (currently 2) over the last 40 years and just ordered my first electric guitar an Epiphone 339 and the guy in the shop suggested this was a good starting amp to learn with as its got a lot of reasonable presets so I dont have to start searching for pedals etc.
£139 from amazon prime in UK. Is this like having 30 good amps rather than 1 excellent one?
Yea, it's basically somewhere along Jack of All Trades but Master of None
You can connect it to Fender Tune Desktop via USB and customise your own tone even more with virtual pedals and cabinets.
I think, if people don't compare it to $900 Tube Amps and just compare it other bedroom player amps , It's pretty darn good
Liked this demo - it survived your banging through the patches. Nice.
Thanks, nice demo. Bright and boxy, just like you'd expect from a
"I'm not a trash player but .. " lol :D
NOW THIS is a REAL review....great job Tony....rock on...Happy 4th brother!!!!
This is a really good and useful video. Great job
I don't think you're showing enough of its versatility🎸
Just got one off eBay for $80+tax/shipping…can’t wait to try it out…
BTW a lot of cool stuff on your channel. I'm a fan.Just subscribed!
I hope Fender is giving you some % on this? Great video and super informative. This amp sounds amazing.
Nope - I get no love from Fender - those ingrates. They do make great guitars and amps though!
Minus side of this amp is that you can't attach any cabinets.
Sounds good for the price though.
I am on fence, If I buy this or Marshall mg 15, or mg 30.
Nice fender you have there also ❤.
thank u for showing this. now I decided to buy it xD
Great Amp (Super Champ XD). 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Being a user of D’Addario Pro Steels, a set of strings I’ve found that don’t break easy are DR Tite-Fit, especially on Floyd Rose equipped guitars( pitching upward; they’re hard to break). But that’s just my preference, but it’s a new finding after all the years trying to find a set of strings, that I’m confident about.
I thought that guitar was kids toy for a min. I like the way that strat looks with the pick guard.
Some very usable sounds there.
Mustang LT25 or GT40? Which one is better?
Omg lol
Great review. Thank you.
Hey tony great review of this amp. What would be your pick between this and the box vt 20x for blues and grunge? Cheers 🍻👍👍👍👍👍🍻
I got my Mustang LT25 to go along with my Fender Mustang and it’s honestly amazing. I highly recommend this amp.
DarkAnubis cool thanks for the reply. I’ve got a cheap beater strat from artist guitars 🎸 and I’m tossing up between this and a vox vt 20x for home use. I’m still plugging away on my 10 watter practice amp along with my joyo crunch distortion pedal and I’m looking for another amp to save for and like I said it’s either this amp or the vox one that I mentioned. BTW mustangs are ripper guitars 🎸 and aswell as jazzmasters and jags
Jason Bowman I highly recommend the amp. I’ve been using it everyday & it’s great. Really fun, lot’s of opportunities and ways to experiment with different sounds.
@@DarkAnubis cool thanks for that. The thing that annoys me is that why are these amps and the vox valvetronix vtx 20 called beginner amps when there are fender frontman 10g amps and vox pathfinder 10 are a step down but decent amps for the cash. You would think those amps I just mentioned would be beginner amps. I just think these modelling amps are a good step up from these beginner amps cheers ☺☺
great presentation, man. I really like that you specifically show the setups step by step. :-) It has a built-in noise supressor ? Thanks
Sure does.
@@tonyleeglenn thank ya
greetings from Georgia, nicely done
Appreciate you watching and commenting! It’s a cool amp for sure.
Which one do you prefer to buy? Vox vt20x or Fender mustang lt25?
I want that amp so bad!! I have to get it!!
Will this be good for acoustic guitar ?
I have not tested it with acoustic guitar. Maybe I can do a video test and post it and let you know.
Have you tried an acoustic guitar in this amp?
I tried it, it sounds ok, the best results I got with builtin preset 30 (acoustic) and had to tweak equalizers on the builtin guitar preamp.
I’ve just bought this amp and updated the firmware. I only have 30 tones already preset on it...I think I now how 50 slots so 31 to 50 are empty..should I have more slots and more preset tones?

@@tonyleeglenn thank you I’ll have a look this weekend when I get time to plug my laptop in 👍🏻
Will it be on the same channel when it's switched on again?
Do you demo the built-in tuner somewhere along the line? :)
@FalconerPhoto it was a joke, son. The Strat is way out of tune.
This guy rules
Which do you prefer the Vox VT20X or this Fender?
Well - I like the tube pre-amp in the Vox, and I also like the ability to edit from my iMac. But the Fender really does sound nice. I like both amps for their differences - but if I were to only get one, it would be the VT20X.
Do you think this amp would be good for playing motley Crüe and poison and some other hair/glam metal bands
It does high gain sounds really well. I think it would probably work for that.
can it make a good vintage marshall tone? some red hot and jimi hendrix stuff
Yes - It has a reasonable Marshall model (actually several of them) in there. Depending on the guitar you're using you should be able to get RHCP and Jimi sounds just fine.
Does it have a tuner?
It does.
What are all the effects, mainly does it have flange
It has flanger, chorus, tremolo, and touch wah for every preset
nice video, I just bought this amp, where are you from buddy?
Hey Gary - I'm from western NC.
@@tonyleeglenn Awesome, I am Irish but living in Texas! My amp arrived yesterday and it is FUN. First song I had my son play was "fat bottomed girls" to my wife haha. Great channel by the way
@@garyc4019 Ha! FBG . . . to your wife. That's hilarious.
How do you record ?
Should have tune this guitar before ! Great demo indeed...
Can I add effect pedals to this amp?
Sure can.
how may pedals/effects can I use at the same time?
You unluckily can't change the signal chain, so you can set stompbox > modulation effect > amp > eq > delay/reverb and nothing more, what is a bit of dissapointing to me.
Why don’t you plug the amp directly to your computer for recording via usb
I do sometimes. I like the sound of the speaker and wanted to show viewers how it sounds.
how does it sound with pedals with the presets?
I use a tube screamer and other distortions and they sound great. not tried anything else though. I imagine a wah would work well.
Tony Lee Glenn thanks man im definitely getting this amp, the tone is great for it’s price. i hope it sounds good with my boss ds-2 and my flanger
@@nate5149 DS2 should sound great. It's got a cool flanger built in, but the pedal may be superior. I think you'll dig the amp. It truly is a great modeling amp for the price. You can buy fancier, but this one is a big bang for the buck. Thanks for watching the videos!
Tony Lee Glenn Thanks man i appreciate it i’ll definitely be buying this amp in the near future 👍
Is it pedal friendly?
it does not have an effects loop but I just use a tube screamer on the front end or a wah and that's really all I need. All the rest of the effects work great that are on board. You just can't put the noise gate after a overdrive effect. so that's why I use the tube screamer on the front end.
what chord is that at 8:42 ?
Ha - Cmaj7
I want that amp so bad!! I have to get it!!
